Its KEY

Wet in Arizona

As much as I wish I was ‘turned on’ — that’s not what I’m referring to this evening. However, it is raining in Arizona in March. I’m new here, so I’m not sure when “rain season” is – but I certainly didn’t expect it to be in March. All the same, I’m happy about it and ready to march some of these dusty winds into mud. Last weeks dry dust storm threw my kid into a sinus and asthma touch-and-go party. She’s been sick 4 out of 7 days of Spring Break week 1.

We’ve still managed to have a little fun. We took in a couple of movies: “A THOUSAND WORDS” starring Eddie Murphy and Kerry Washington and “An ACT OF VALOR” starring our own Navy Seal Team players. They were awesome. Very telling and compelling stories.

Have you seen either film? I won’t spoil them for you in this blog – but I will tell you I left the movie theater “wet” after both shows. Again, I was not ‘turned on’, I was crying. Yep! I’m a cry baby. “A THOUSAND WORDS” had such a moral and life lesson in it that I couldn’t resist being moved and “An ACT OF VALOR” was so selfless, until well…I just couldn’t take being self righteous another minute and I cried out of appreciation and respect. Who needs Restasis when you’ve got films like these at the box office?

When was the last time you got wet?
We should be mindful to not forget
about the greater meanings of life
and about those that move stealth through the night.

Life has great meanings that out number the leaves on a tree.
Life would would be grim without the United States SEAL TEAM.

I am grateful for the season – I am wet this SPRING,
I’m Qui
Encouraging you to get wet
via the box office scene.
