I’ve seen a lot of LIVE things as of late, but yo!
None more impressive than MOTOWN The Musical show.
ASU Gammage housed the event and I couldn’t help but go!
A jamming good time was yielded during the MOWTOWN show.
Only the ‘tone deaf’ would purposely miss such a production.
Hit-after-hit invoked a standing-ovation eruption.
I loved it!
The Motown Musical is “the width!”
The storyline is thick in historical legend, it’s quite the harmonious story.
I learned a lot about yesterdays artists who were birthed under Mr. Berry Gordy.
Lordy. Lordy I did have a good time. Diana Ross brought the unity.
During the show she asked us to hold hands – we: the audience community
and WE DID.
The love was not hid.
This happened last night!
Again The Motown Musical is out of sight.
If you haven’t caught it on Broadway and even if you have
treat yourself to a another round of jams, depths and laughs.
It’s all I was able to talk about on the way home last night and all that I’ve talked about all day today,
and a good time including artists on point, captivating onlookers in the joint – will always reap my griot say.
