Wether you like it or not, your “family laundry” is on the line
being aired via satellite/cable, network TV and even the Vine.
Cutting UP in the ATL, Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Kandi’s Ski Trip
precursor Love & Hip Hop ATL and Married to Medicine‘s schtick.
All of the aforementioned shows are channeled through my DirecTV.
I DVR them all — because they each mirror a little bit of me.
Ooo wee the view can be dirty y’all — yet entertaining, all the same.
Tv reality is a pal to me and the women sport the most amazing mane.
The main thing that gets me is how with ease black folk are airing out their laundry.
Mom always said, “keep that in the house,”; the opportunity $$ to air out – presents quandry. 🙂
But the fact that these folks are doing it and that I relate and am entertained,
kind of makes me happy that they have chosen to do the dang thang.
To bare the truth in vain. I say vain, because paydays do follow.
You act an ass for a little cash — a hundred thou ain’t hard to swallow.
I look forward to the next broadcast of each one listed.
My DVR has my back just in case my schedule causes me to miss it. 🙂
I’m loving the diversity pouring through my TV.
It reminds me there are other brown skinned go-getters out there like me.
They’re giving it up for what they want, even it it includes
airing dirty laundry and even yielding another ‘the blues.’
I’m hardly a ‘blues yeilder,’ especially not on a global scale.
I try to contain myself to ‘in-house’ — just not into ‘broadcasting my hell.’
But I am into scripting it – the familial hell that doth cross my mind.
I’m into the scripts of Empire and Power. There’s gold in them there finds!
Have you been watching?
I had to order STARZ to continue show clocking
Power.
Fresh content with no sour.
It’s a pretty attention grabbing hour and I’m watching.
Mundane broadcasting is what the melanin revolution is blocking.
I like it and for the next broadcasts – I am excited,
I’m Qui
Inspired to continue cultivating my own — I can’t help but write it.
PS. There’s one other show that I find to be “the sweetest scripted bombs!”
Believe it or not, it comes on nick and it’s called Instant Mom.
Have you seen it? It’s a family hit!
The reflections of a new bride with instant kids.
They came along with her new spouse…
it’s what family is all about.
XO!!
