Today my desk is full of many posted notes,
but not HOT lucrative leads, mostly of interesting folk.
Relating to people is where I learn the most.
And if you’re not careful, relativity will up and get ‘ghost.
You gotta “stay-on-it,” YO! You have to

Dimensions are added as character is built.
There’s nuggets of gold in the wisdom of passing folk
Please DO TAKE TIME to sift.
That’s what sets us apart from others, what we find in the sift.
Don’t assume that clump is a bump of mud – dust it off, it may be your gift.
How’s your vision? How do you see most unforseen things?
Is that a hunk of metal or is a pile of unpolished rings?
Look a little closer. You must. Therein lies the truth,
It’s that thing that you’ve been missing, that thing that completes you.

GOOD Eating – a FULFILLING Reason
Please do not confuse GOOD Eating with #CleanEating. The two are on almost on opposite ends of the menu spectrum. GOOD Eating consists of stuff like Texas smoked BBQ, Gumbo, CAJUN SAUSAGE-POTATO SOUP, and the likes. Good eating is the stuff that’s good for your soul. #CleanEating is what I’m doing. This consists of grilled chicken, fish, shrimp or sirloin steak. All pretty great options, but no carbs fat and sugar are allowed. After eating like this for a prolonged period your body almost feels new and this diet by far is the way to go long term. However, there’s still room for GOOD Eating, in moderation.
How are you feeling today on “moderation?” Me, personally, I am still eating clean so I can’t partake in the meal that comes to mind but I’d love to get in the kitchen and whip it up for you. On second thought, it only takes 30-minutes total from prep time to serve. If you’re up for GOOD Eating, this recipe should FULFILL your desire. Pull out your apron and wash your hands. It’s time to get busy.
GRILL Away on LABOR DAY
HAPPY LABOR DAY! It’s so good to have a day of appreciation for all of your labor. Thinking about firing up the grill today? DO IT. Clean eating demands that I do it daily. Still good eating. YES! But isn’t LABOR DAY dubbed ‘the last real grilling holiday,” (not withstanding mandatory tailgating during NFL season)? So by all means break out the grill and lets get some smoke in the air!
Stumped on the menu? I’ve got your back. The other day I was in the checkout line and picked up a Woman’s World magazine — because I’m a woman and THAT’S what I do — it was chalk full of Labor day grilling recipes. There’s one for Barbequed Spare Ribs, Philly-Style Steak Sandwiches with Grilled Onions and Provolone, Beer Marinated BBQ chicken, Blue Cheese Burgers with Red Wine Onions and Hot Dogs with Avocado Salsa and Sour Cream.
