…and each episode of VICE NEWS succeeds in yielding me much.
Research and journalism is showcased so “real to the touch…”
last nights episode recounted The 1st 100 Days of Trump.
Did you manage to catch any of the such?

Perhaps you didn’t catch it and would like to see it, my friend?
On the other hand perhaps you did see it and would just like to see it again?

Either way, me too!
So let me share this VICE with you:

Let’s talk about it after you watch it.
Once I focused my attentions on the view, I could not stop it.

I was enlightened…
senses heightened…
I traveled the world without leaving the couch.

It was all about Trump…
100 days of gas and brake pumps…
and the sling shots that have come from within the house.

What a VICE of a view?
A real constitutional head screw,

kicked-in-the-nuttslike:

👉🏾Day 21. Executive Orders [7:59]
On Feb 9th the president swore in Attorney General Jeff Sessions then signed 4 Executive Orders designed to look like he was getting tough on crime.  One called for the creation of an Anti Drug Smuggling Task Force that already exists. Another created a succession plan if the Attorney General dies and the two people below him also die. Trump likes Executive Orders, so far he’s issued 29. A few could have a real impact including the travel ban despite being blocked in federal court, but for the most part – their just show business…

Executive Orders can get attention but Trump isn’t using them to make actual policy, for that, he turns off the cameras and pivots to the little known Congressional Review Act. The CRA allows congress to get rid of legislation that it doesn’t like provided that they act within 60 legislative days. Because the Trump presidency is still so young the CRA’s time window reaches back into the last administration letting Trump and Congress erase Obama era regulations. The catch, once rules are overturned by CRA, they can’t be easily reinstated…

👉🏾#35 Detained at the Airport [13:24]

Henry Rousso, Holocaust Historian: Yes – I landed in Houston, it was about 2pm, I was interrogated by a young (U.S. Immigration) officer, actually. He asked me a lot of things about my parents, about my family. He told me that ‘I wasn’t allowed to give a lecture and be paid for that lecture.’ He said, “You will be deported back by the next plane.” As a whole I spent about 10-hours in this room where people were being checked, so called “vetting,” and finally I was released because it was an intervention from a lawyer from the university. The officer who released me was a more experienced officer than the previous one and he said to me, “You know the guy who interrogated you was absolutely inexperienced and didn’t know there was an exception for people giving lectures with a normal tourist visa.”

butt-kickWhat was really disturbing to me, this officer told me, “the next time you come into the U.S. you will have your passport of course, you will have your letter of invitation from the university but bring with you the excerpt of the U.S. Immigration law to show to the officer.” So I said, “I have to show the U.S. Immigration officer what is U.S. Law?” This is absolutely unbelievable.

👉🏾#50 Detained at the Airport [21:18]

Muhammed Ali, Jr.:  Immigration pulled me aside and asked me if they could ask me a couple of questions.  I said, “Okay. Sure.” [They said] What’s your name?  I said, ” Muhammed Ali, Jr.”  Then they asked me, “Who gave you that name?” I said, “My mother and my father.”  So they asked me, ‘What is your religion?’ I was like, “I’m a Muslim,” but what does that have to do with my travel?

Khalilah Camacho Ali: (wife of the late and GREATEST OF ALL TIME, Muhammed Ali) In the meantime, they roll me into another room and the first thing that they asked me was “What is your religion?” I just happened to have pictures with me, with signed autographs, and so they were like, ‘Oh. You’re Muhammed Ali’s wife. Oh okay. Okay. You’re free to go.’ And I said, “Well, where is my son?

Muhammed Ali, Jr.: And then after that was up – my 4 or 5 minutes, they told me I was free to go.  Then were invited to Washington, to Capital Hill to speak about this whole incident…

On the way home from Washington, DC —-

Muhammed Ali, Jr.: I presented my ID and he [Immigrations Officer] said, ‘Oh. I’ve got to call somebody.’ We were like, ‘Who have you got to call?

Mrs. Muhammed Ali: Homeland Security.

ouch.jpgMuhammed Ali, Jr.: He said, “They’re checking something, – I don’t know?” And then he said my ID was invalid, so that’s when I presented my passport. But if I didn’t have my passport I wouldn’t have gotten back to Fort Lauderdale.

Mrs. Muhammed Ali: This is total harassment. Total discrimination. Totally out of line and totally unacceptable.

Muhammed Ali, Jr.:  Totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

Friday night, there were 99 bullet points to mark 99 days +1 still shot of the President, today
that trailed the 50-minute VICE GRIP of raw journalism shooting from the hip to the lip; a real heavy lay.

While I may not be a visitor in the U.S. or on a visa, I’m pretty willing to bet
that most folks living & thriving here – have roots to IMMIGRANTS.

Yet, we are a stinker about it, because immigrants aren’t working for free anymore nor are they the fairest complexion of friends.

America! We’ve worked hard on the beautification of our yard, what’s the deal with the sharp turn in trends?

Come on!!! 100 Days in and we are going to burn to the ground
the grace of this country; from her sole to her crown?

Gather round and see a fool, who’s looking for acceptance!
I feel like the circus is in town and pimping our adolescents.

The last 100 Days have indeed been a blessin’ for the rich and their friends.
But you’re not rich. So SIT DOWN short ends. 🙂

You’re not even at the level of lecturer, nor are you Mrs. Muhammed Ali and son.
Will there be any force coming to your aid when you’re rights are being undone?

hug-bear-heartsThink about it once, then then think about twice…
then relate to the sound of the title, “We’re in a VISE.” 🙂

Oh yes! I’m laughing at it. Don’t let lifes realities pull you down,
I’m Qui
A well versed and informed she – taking it as a grain of salt to the ground.
