WHAT HAPPENED TO MONDAY | Series

.

Mm-mm-mm, it’s Monday, again
and y’all know how I am at a new weeks begin.

I’m all jitted up about conquering a win.
The possibilities for the day are many – in opportunities den.

Let’s talk about the goings on of my refreshing Sunday,
I was drawn in by Netflix’s WHAT HAPPENED TO MONDAY?

Have you seen this piece?
It’s multi sci-fi duplicity.

It’s new in the reel Netflix stream line-up.
It goes hard good Lord; kept me on edge in the cut.

7 identical siblings are born into a rut
because there can only be one. Now take that to the gut!

You’d think identical, multiple birth siblings would have a little more love

than Monday showed to Sunday. The family of 7 needs a  Musketeer hug.

Their grandfather and paternal reference was no guardian joke –
he raised 7 warriors. Gramps was played by Willem Dafoe.

Also there’s a pretty prickly role
that holds consistency by Glen Close.

You gotta see this.
From beginning to end – Noomi Rapace is a hit.

But then again, I am truly sci-fi bred.
I was into Thursday and Tuesday, (the Lesbian and the red head).

Spoilers will not be so quickly fed — you have got to see this piece,
I’m Qui
It’s new and still under box office review. The concept is beast.

With great intensity I inhaled and exhaled the satisfying, slow release of yesterday,
because today I labor my own seedy and literally scripted Monday.

The day was yesterday that we had to let go
of the legendary Dick Gregory; he was just eighty-fo.’

Put your lighters in the air and say “Ho-oh!”
Then visit his wikipedia to learn a little mo.’

I had to learn of him too – my  adolescent introduction of him lead me to surmise as much:

Dick Gregory kept the vibe light
during the journey of civil rights,

he made folks laugh when they wanted to cuss.’

And sometimes they still cursed, but most importantly he taught them while they laughed.
Like I said, he was just eight-fo, when he crossed over, though he did MUCH in between his dash:

October 12, 1932      August 19,2017

Peep his legacy: learn well and don’t lose the laugh.
