Two hurricanes hit and despite the presidents “perfect 10” buffering –
the people in Puerto Rico are still in dire trouble and suffering.

RHONJ Bethenny Frankel is on the case! I do love those Real Housewife shows.
She’s filling planes with food & supplies to save lives and having them destination flown.

Ricky Martin is from Puerto Rico and with humility conquers the verb “trying -”
he’s sending food and supplies to the island as well; to help halt folks from dying.

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez have been moved enough to hollar!
They’ve used thier mics and fanbase-love to raise 36-million dollars.

And while that sounds great! The island is still in the red
it’s not about 1 neighborhood in turmoil, but all of the people being fed.

The money raised will be divided in multiple ways to facilitate the most.
The bulk of it takes an infrastructure hit – none can transport without flight or clearing the roads.

So even though the donations are pouring in Puerto Rico needs much more.
Fema is on the scene but are overwhelmed and with little soar.

Ellen Degeneres is working with Cherrios – a nutritious name.
They’ve transported a thousand pounds of food to Puerto Rico by plane.

The amount of aid needed seems insane but we can each do our part
to remind Puerto Rico that they are in our prayers and in our hearts.

Still upside down from all of the water
let us not forget the peninsula Florida.

Just as I was about to publish this write of Puerto Rico HELP being on-ramp
I saw a line that went on for miles of Floridians needing foodstamps.

I don’t know what kind of assistance system our government has put into place
that has folks still out of sorts in the usual sunshine state.

They are still living low on necessities like water and food.
The coverage of Florida is light – in fact, quite subdued.

Don’t forget to send aid their way if you can.
Tragedy falls at once across the land.
