That’s what my daughter said to me last week. She’s all packed now and ready to go!
Me? I’ll be a kid in town all by myself. I’m excited about her to and fro!

I’m excited about my future travels, too. The Arizona’s dust can be a bit hazy.
I hear there are so many elevations in Colorado that the fun can border crazy.

She’s life blossoming, yet level-headed and poised to handle drama.
She’s a literary girl with very little cares. She got that from her moma.

Me? When was the last time that I did something wild?
It could go as far back as me having my last child.

I’m surely an out of the box kind of girl; limits are not really my thing,
still 6-years exist between my kids. I appreciated the time to breathe.

Therefore, I reckon I’ll be okay
with both my kids living in different states.

In fact, on the real, I think it’s carefree’ingly cool!
I’m still that rapper-girl from Trimble Tech High School.

Today — on the reel, I am a woman about my studies.
I’ve been hanging real tough with my collegiate buddies.

I’ve been putting in 15-30 hours a week on course research.
My head in a book near a window to outwardly look;
’tis my perferred creative perch.
My brain is massaged – my mind, alert.

I am really more of a nerd than even I ever knew.
The work is rigorous. I study and comprehend-slew.
