I prayed for you last night before getting my sleep on.

What did you do last night? Did you have any fun at all?
I did indeed; good fun yields to sleep. I slept hard without stall.

Good morning, dear Monday. It’s good to see you nigh.
The weekend was good to me; ooo-oui! A little F.Y.I.

I didn’t watch MSNBC like I did last weekend’s way.
I did take it easy, adhere to feeling breezy;
and let my hair down to play.

I did go to see the Equalizer 2. Denzel piques on performance in disguise.
I dug the Equalizer’s special set of skills that invoked the bad guys to die.

It was the same ol’ Robert McCall from way back when.
Still a distinguished gentleman, tho with a little more melanin.

The film was an entertaining win; I had a good time.
Homework and school is my schedule’s rule,
still, I keep an open tab for you on my mind.
