Don’t get your foot caught

If it’s free, we often think it’s a trick and we may pass it up.
If it’s unobtainable some will steal and/or cheat – to get the stuff.

Why?

Watch out for that snare.
It’s a trick and that’s why it’s there.

You can steal a lot of stuff, even draw up a thieving plan,
but the truth is the only foolproof. God help the hearts of man.

Why make your plight
to win – even if it isn’t right?

I’m sure by now that you have heard
about the college admission scamming verb.

Word.

Seems rich folk have been unmasked
and revealed to appreciate a steal – but the look is bad.

“Hands up! You’ve been made,” said the FBI to several of them.
The collegiate admissions snare is an old trick with a lot of hems.

If we look closely at the business aspect of cheating and Rick Singer 
we can see that it is a winning business. Ouch! That’s the real stinger.

Yep. It’s been around forever –
it’s just that Rick’s scheme wasn’t so clever.

Don’t worry about the institutions that don’t or won’t let you in –
you just continue to read, research and learn; make Conquering Knowledge your best friend.

So my homie Conquering and I are taking a Film Portfolio class,
the syllabus is dope and I’ve no intentions to choke though it’s been known to kick ass.

There is a lot of work involved; Cinematography is a steady Science.
I wouldn’t think to cheat or steal my way through; my capacity is compliant.

Anytime someone brings up cheat, steal or lie,
I exit the room. I’ve no interest to try.

Integrity is real. I wake up with it.
Me, be a chameleon? You can forget it.

Plus I constantly keep one brow up
and all conversation is filtered through my gut.

My solar plexus.
Intuitive vibes do connect us.

I don’t care how elite Rick Singer must have been, the explanation of his business would have missed me.
I’d have been offended that my intellect was ill-comprehended; offering me his services would have dissed me.

And maybe even have pissed me off.
But I guess if learning makes you sweat — then you may pay the cost?

What are the thoughts of a man mindfully engaging in the ill?
Is he aware of the snare at the top of the hill?

Be it college admissions or Nigerian scams,
say NO to cheating when it comes around.

It’s just like beer, it’s just like drugs –
Friends don’t let friends be white collar thugs.

Surely you’ve heard that saying before… No?
Oh maybe not, because I just made it up, yo. 😛
