Today finds me in thought about composition. We start film production this week on my documentary piece about movement. The saying used to be, “If you move your meat – you lose your seat,” but in today’s constant game of musical chairs with personality and ethics everyone seems to be standing around a few chairs, but no one is really moving. Where’s the story here? Is there an ARC and where is it bending?
If a story is without movement or transition there is nothing; in fact, without movement and progress, the end is near. We have all been moving since the day that our bodies were formed in utero (thus all of those Braxton Hicks pains your mom experienced). Movement means life.
The story arc in a tale of movement is something that our union is missing today.
I’m up at my leisure, satellite news is a teaser; we need movement in the U.S.A.
Q: What act will transition us? How do we shape a better convey?
A: Make a bold move or stand to lose your status quo in the global sphere way.
We have got to show some life.
Keep moving through the grooves and resist darkness for the light.
Yeah. Does that sound alright?
We need our arc to bend sharply towards the light.
Let our story be one of great change – seemingly out of nowhere.
Let us move in one motion towards love, compassion, and care.
Are you still there? You do know that you are the protagonist in this piece?
I need you to consider all things, pull-it-together, stand on your feet,
and move.
The resilient arc in our story is framed around you.
You, you, you. So what are you going to do?
Be scared of nothing and stand still for not too long.
A man has to be in motion to remain agile and strong.
So does a vibe.
Don’t let a stagnant game of musical chairs be your life.
Don’t stand in line for a seat that millions will never feel.
Find the arc in your own story and stand bright on the hill.
As much as it sounds like I’m talking to America “the collective” I must indeed admit,
that it takes individuals to keep our energy reserves full. No worries, I believe WE got this.
Stop standing around and start moving in the direction that you want to see this story go,
I’m Qui
and The ARC is you and me in every seed that we intentionally sow.
Water and nourishment must follow if we intend for this story to grow.
Love on your neighbor with more yes’ than no’s.
Life is a give & take, we’ve got to move to yield ebb & flow.
