Left, left, left-right-left; whose leading?
Plates are being fixed, but tell me who’s eating?

Leaders take the time to do and re-do head counts.
When they stumble or fall, they’re quick on the bounce.

Leaders Move Forward; we don’t stop or look back.
Leaders push on through, eating a diet of facts.

What’s on our united plate today is Elijah Cummings home-going.
We’ve got a few greats on the stage recalling his life and seed-sowing.

Reminding America:
that our unity can be fairer.

Leaders prompt those who follow to be encouraged and stay up-beat.
Leaders march with other leaders for CIVIL RIGHTS in the street.

The sky was the congressman’s limit – he insisted to press upwards.
Elijah Cummings is the definition of a LEADER MOVING FORWARD.

Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama graced the home-going stage to say farewell.
The funeral looked-like a feel good place; attendants sat in love for a spell.

What a sell of unity. I miss the feeling across the country.
Let Elijah be a reminder to us all, that life doesn’t have to be lumpy

all of the time.
Unite a little more and enjoy the sunshine.

A collection of good energy towards a specific issue is what Leaders harvest and use
to face the dangers of the world, resolve them, and secure protections for me and you.

I appreciate all of the presidents of the past who have led us safely to this point.
I feel pretty groovy about Elijahs home-going being a love-united joint.

Life is great for those of us who are still in it.
Let us use our life force to forge relationship in love and win this!
