A State of STREAMING

1-streaming-waterfall.gifI have been streaming broadcasts of Epix’s original DEEP STATE series and am just broaching Season 2. Any chance that you have seen it? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts. My own thoughts include “compelling show, complex script, relative storyline and a mixed bag of A-cast actors  with seasoned new comers.

Walton Goggins plays the role of Nathan Miller in Season 2 and is just as compelling as he in any role he has ever portrayed. Having said as much, he must be one of Hollywood and streaming networks most versatile and valuable talents. I have enjoyed Walton’s work in FX’s former JUSTIFIED series, USA’s former BURN NOTICE series as well as in HBO’s The RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONE’s current series. The Deep State cast member is no newbie to being deeply committed to script; herein, he is submersed. Unlike Season 1, the second season centers around Nathan Miller’s point of view. Max Easton, Harry and, Leyla are still characters that we recognize respectively in the shadows as Nathan’s details play out.

.

Broaching season 2, I can’t find hide nor hair of a season 3 coming. If it were already in the broadcast chambers, season 3 would be slated to debut this month. I certainly hope so. In the meantime, I’ll slow down my binging because there is no word of a Deep State season 3.

If the series doesn’t return, I will live and I will surely find another series to learn and follow. I refer to this perpetual happenstance as A State of Streaming. I no longer have cable or satellite television services, I am a total streamer. Which flows easily with my life mantra, “more streams… of revenue.”

In order to operate more efficiently, I had to dam up excessive outgo and focus on renewables. Streaming services know about renewables; there are so many shows that I have not seen, that need seeing and Deep State is just one of thousands of renewed broadcasts on deck.
