Walk It Out

In Comedy, dance, Griot, Music, Networking, Self Improvement, Video on December 30, 2020 at 4:51 am

Sitting too long isn’t good for you.  I’m a writer and I sit like, “Ooo. Is there any reason to stand and don shoes?”  But sitting too long can yield our postures big blues.

I should know, I have TMJD — so keeping a good balance is good for me.

One should be often about walking to and fro. Several months back, I had Vertigo.

And good balance was not “a working thing” that day. It took more than 12-hours to dissipate.

I felt like I was on a boat – without a doubt. The only thing I wanted to do was “straight-away” Walk It Out.

Have you ever been there, at any point where your body does something unfair?

It happens and it happened.  Resist most urges to pout. — Live in the moment proactively and always: Walk It out.

Chris Rock used to have a joke in reference to resilience; I love him.  He referenced black families walking off disease and applying Robitussin:

It’s Hump Day and I’m feeling it. Good things are coming your way – I’m sending it.  When the video editing is done – I’m rendering it.  Take the day by the horns and insist good be born in it. Alas, when all resolutions are good-to-go, put a pin in it.

Stand still for no one and nothing; move expeditiously to get things done.

I’m Qui

‘gonna Walk It Out with thee – straight into 2021.

I think we’re going to LIKE it:

With only a few days left within this year, I do believe better days are near. Covid numbers are not at the height of things – let’s keep our hands clean and sooner than later, we’ll be back to visiting. So, until then, dear friend I am off to hiate. Don’t let too many more meals leap onto your belly from your plate. Do it for you and your soon to-get-to fun. Do it because you want to look good in 2021.

After All of That

In #SeveralLayersDeep, Communication, Griot, Music, Networking, Self Improvement, Video on December 26, 2020 at 4:30 am

What happened yesterday? I pray that all mayhem missed us. Now, tell me if it’s true that you reaped love-dues on Christmas.

How about human touch? Surely you need it too. For human touch conveys intimate love; nourishment to you.

Me? I had a blast. I’ve been a big kid all week long.  Mercy-me, I’m a big kid every week because my Christmas spirit is strong.

For a happy heart, there is no right or wrong – there is only “different.” Judge not that you be not judged – Matthew 7:1 should be spent.

With a few more days remaining, we are fast approaching 2021. You deserve more love, and you deserve more fun.

2020 yielded us plenty: Covid, unemployment, and an abundance of fat.  Yep, we all deserve more love in our lives after ALL OF THAT.

Life would be boring if we didn’t have a few spats. Residing in the human-observation lane has taught me that.

I am a praying kind of gal and I duly pray daily.  I pray like it’s a job, but ain’t nobody paying me.

I’m praying for me and you — that 2021 will be something new,

something better, something fresh, something light. I pray 2021, for us all, will mean a more revived life.

Whatever ate-up your nerves in 2020, write it down and then rip it up,

I’m Qui

Do this as often as necessary before 2021 arrives with new pending love.

Let us all rest easier and meditate more on getting our united swag back. — 2020 was hard like chewing a penny. We deserve better AFTER ALL OF THAT.
