Chillin in The Dallas - Fort Worth

Last night it rained shards of ice – not snow, no flurries at all.
This morning we woke up to ICEE streets and many vehicular stalls.

My street looks like a blizzard hit it – and memo’d everyone to stay inside.
The asphalt is iced over 4 or 5 times and absolutely fit for no ride.

This certainly isn’t Egypt – but everything is shut down.
No ones thinking of getting out of bed in my immediate town.

We’re content in chillin’ and working most things out – here online.
ICEE’s have always been my favorite… so today I’ll be just fine.

The forecast yesterday was SUNNY, DRY and 59 degrees.
Today it’s grey, no sun and at 16.8 degrees it’s too cold to breathe.

I don’t have paid sick days and I don’t have the option to call in.
I work rain, sleet & snow – alot like the P.O. – transfusing SUNSHINE by the end.

It’s been duly noted:
It’s all in how you coat it. 🙂

I usually work from home. A low overhead is always KEY,
I’m Qui
working along side my neighbors today because DFW roads are too ICEE.
