HOW TO Arrest This Mess

In Communication, education, Griot, Networking, News, Science, Self Improvement, Video on November 13, 2020 at 4:45 am
It’s doing circles around us…

State-after-state in the USA sends up SOS signals, asking for help. Over-burdened medical facilities threaten medical professional’s health.

The COVID tally is rising, and people are still dying. I am sure that we can do better. Word is — things will be getting worse as we deal with colder weather.

Are you ready, kinfolk? It’s time for us all to do our part. “Don a mask and wash your hands” — it’s time to live smart.

TRUE STORY:

Once upon a time, I thought I was in a life-threatening rut; I had just descended from a water slide and didn’t realize I needed to “stand up.”

As I sat on my butt doing the drowners yell, my guy shouted out, “you don’t need any help! Just stand up, 5’3 — and all will be well.”

He was correct. The water was closer to ankle than neck.

I just needed to open my eyes to realize — that I was taller than the waters 12″ rise.

So, I opened my eyes, and yep, he was right. I just stood up and didn’t lose my life.

The moral of the story is:

America: Open your eyes and stand the frack up! COVID is 12″ of water, and we are sitting on our butt.

Let’s not cause more of a spectacle than we already have; the world is watching, and we look ill-bad. Let’s wash our hands and don a mask.

Perhaps it sounds better when celebrities ask:

Protecting self is something that we all can do. Let’s mask-up until COVID is f#@ked — then we won’t have to.

I’m all in, I’m all in! I miss my family and friends. I’m all in because I want this era of isolation to end.

To mask-up is to win. Oh! And always wash your hands.

Keep hand sanitizer on-you even after we’re on the mend. Clean hands across the land will always be “in.”

Right? Let’s not give this disease any more sunlight. If you can decipher wrong from right, I’m going to ask you to join the human race fight. “Don a mask and wash your hands” — ’tis is my longevity plight.

My plight reads like a motto that needs adopting,

I’m Qui

My plight is a motto that every American should be copping

Monday Morning Goodness

Goodness always rises – so rise, kinfolk, rise!
Thank God for the day as you open your eyes.

Pull the curtains back and look into the sky,
then hit the home gym, because you’re high on life.

You don’t have a home gym? You’re just not living that large?
Who are you kidding? You have the living room and a big ol’ garage.

Those spaces are good enough! You just need a little room.
Resort to exercise and reading more to forgo “outing dooms.”

It is not safe to mingle and relax social distancing rules; take it slow.
Going out is for essential workers, city managers and confused folk?

I love us all, but we have got to be real.
You may be bored indoors, but COVID19 has the field.

Please don’t feel invincible now;
don’t say “frack it” and go out anyhow.

I really don’t understand…
Why don’t we act more cautious across the land?

For the sake of capitalism?
Hmph. I raise you 1 wisdom:

clowns-in-clown-car

Don’t ride with the clowns.

Don’t join that clown-cramped parade.
The country opening up “regardless” – is a charade.
Science says: “It just isn’t safe.”

Monday Morning Goodness, please be good to us on a whole.
Help us to resist walking and running into a big ol’ hole.

We can do this.
Common sense and compassion will pull us through this.

Don’t huff & puff or hiss — because you have to keep your distance today,
I’m Qui
Excited about we, Mondays and Goodness.  Our united legacy is in play.

A Word on Math and Science

It is what it is.

.
Math and Science
matter around the globe like no other.
Math and Science needs your compliance; ’tis no gripe from your mother.

It’s important that you learn to add and subtract in order to see
that things are not adding up in the world, the way that they should be.

Correction lenses help us to see the fine print
Bills don’t stop. We have to pay the rent.

Precious time has been spent on the dilly and the dally.
The U.S. is winning the battle of losing to the COVID19 tally.

Many lives have been lost and many are hanging in limbo…
Circumstance is forcing an uptick in Math and Science, yo.

An inch is not a mile and a mile is not an inch.
That foul smell isn’t fresh air; that smell is a stench.

Science can help you measure that; science supports air quality.
Not sure where to find the 411?  I love science, please follow me.

Are we in it (life) for the long run, or just until the next few paychecks?
It’s just a question on a Monday; concerned with the yoke around your neck.

No one — and I mean no one besides us — is forging ahead for our good.
The world is what it is; let its intentions be understood.bare_chaps

Take care for your lives.
May your chaps cover your hides.

Laugh out loud,
narrate and be proud
to live your truths.
God is with and will cover you.
You know exactly what to do.

I’m doing it with ya.
Don’t let reopening take away something the state didn’t give ya…

LIFE.
Remember Math & Science. Alright?

Should I see you out and about because you are an essential,
I’m Qui
and I’m in PPE because my love and support are with ya.’
