A Few Things

In #SeveralLayersDeep, Book, Communication, Griot, script writing, TV Shows, Video on May 26, 2023 at 3:15 am

I’ve been reading a really cool book because intellect is regal,
written by Roy Lilley titled, “DEALING WITH DIFFICULT PEOPLE.”

Are you one of ’em? Challenges intrigue me indeed.
So I’m glued to this book, comprehending the read.

Psychology is a love of mine, I do love the mind.
Today I commit to finishing the DWDP bind.

In between chapters, I have been getting-in my serial fix
from that “evolving for cash” app, Netflix.

Upon finishing TRANSATLANTIC, I am changing app vines,
SWARM exposes ‘Stan harm, and got me watching Bezos’ Prime:

It’s a good find. It is freakish, but founded in truth.
Donald Glover and Janine Nabors are life-to-drama sleuths.

Good screenplay composition invokes me to produce,
but not a minute before I research & compose fresh webinar juice.

It’s something that I’m into. I’m a course-creating kind-of girl.
An admitted Sapeosexual in a 411-rich world.

Nothing makes me much happier at all
than to learn new information and share without stall.

So, while I’m at it, I may as well tell you about those scripted scenes
that I am drafting while publishing this note of A FEW THINGS.

This is what is on my plate, my desk, and my mind.
I am careful to break and relax, post this write, I’m cracking the bind.

These are a few of my favorite things to get lost in and to do.
Good morning, beloved, what are you getting into?

Key BLACK HISTORY: Multi Media PLAYERS IV

In Communication, Griot, Movies, Networking, News, Self Improvement, TV Shows, Video on February 24, 2020 at 6:30 am

.
Alright, Good People: I’m at it again, with something that you can feel
in the spirit of Black History, I’m thrown back to JORDAN PEELE.

Have you seen the new Amazon series THE HUNTERS?
It parallels todays hell; the script is a punter.

I am enjoying the series install.
It’s a throwback view of — us all.

This show takes a particular look into hate,
the law, the people; a legacy page.

A lot is up for debate on this piece.
Composed of real stories, yet hard to believe.

Give it up people: for content creators who keep it real.
Give it up people:  for the history of Jordan Peele.

He is showing you yourself – regardless of your race.
The Hunters series has potential; may it take its place.

HOME. I am an American. The American way yields an intellectual key.
Home. I am an American; I am about her values and BLACK HISTORY.

BAD BOYS For LIFESpeaking of making history, let’s talk about Martin and Will —
and the alchemy of good times they have captured in their reel.

BAD BOYS came back this year and made history;
approaching $200 million box office reception carries mystery.

Like, why is it that folks have turned out to see them in show?
Is it likely we missed the days of wholesome entertainment, so….

We bought tickets to sit in the theater and be consumed
with yesterdays situation and these beloved two.

What is it about yesterday that invokes us to congregate,
pay a door fee in hopes to rewind history and improve today?

Whatever it is… let’s all hold to it.
When it comes to supporting Box Office Numbers
please continue to DO IT.

The BAD BOYS franchise is raking it all in
because yesterday was good and karma is a friend.

Not to mention that one of the cast members claims to be an Alchemist.
Both relate in laughter, though making gold belongs to Will.

He remains reflecting that “go getters appeal.”
Martin Lawrence is still the neighbor who ‘we feel.’

Scripting realities is quite the reflection of yet another —
Mr. Writer/Director/Executive Producer, Donald Glover.

Donald is Childish Gambino (the musician) and he knows full well,
what type of patience it takes to produce: A-T-L.

It’s been off of the air for a spell but is slated to come back with plenty.
In 2018 FX renewed for Season 3 and 4 to be broadcast the year after 2020.

It’s not easy being independent. So many of us want to be.
So give it up to the brother that embodies it; give it up DG/CG.

Which brings to mind another no limit storyteller
Curtis “50Cent” Jackson gets better and better!

Have you seen the view of his latest characteristic plight?
It stars Nicholas Pinnock in a new series called FOR LIFE:

Like Power, FOR LIFE takes off quickly.
The storyline is relative and connects swiftly.

A Multi Media Player usually plays more than one role;
an influencer of views to be told and to be sold.

Any chance that you’re watching either of these shows?
Your support is appreciated and I hope the show moves your soul.

Black History month is short and perhaps that was the calendar goal.
I am grateful for any reservations to culture-uplift and boast.

I’m a Multi-Media player; I write, chronicle, direct and shoot,

Just taking a moment with thee to shine a light on our Black AmericanRoots.

Oy PaperBoi

In Communication, Griot, Networking, TV Shows on April 30, 2018 at 8:15 am

AtlantaGood morning o’ neighbor, dear WordPress kin,
I’m back on the subject of PaperBoi again.

I like him and his cousin Earnie, his friends Darius and Tracey too.
I’m into exploiting the schemes, their dreams and the things that they go through

because the episodes are packed with potential to teach someone a lesson.
The fact that PaperBoi didn’t die in episode 9 was a miraculous blessin.’

Did you see it?
The luck of PaperBoi; I wouldn’t want to be it.

I love the show and the cast of members
who pull me back into the south and its consequences…I remember.

Season 2, episode 8 of the ATLANTA series
PaperBoi went to get a pedicure and ended up in trees.

A forested scene showed up when he decided to walk home from the salon.
It was a half-thought-out idea because he needed to get his ‘clear mind‘ on.

In route, he ran into 3 dudes on a cruise who attempted to beat him black and blue.
It’s true and PaperBoi was solid on delivering those 1’s and 2’s.

Via his handy-work, a can of whip-ass was unleashed
and that’s what lead him to run through the trees.

After fighting off the 3 dudes including one firing a gun
an immediate run through the forest seemed to be safer fun

as well as a reasonably good effort to get away from them.
PaperBoi’s life is full of circumstantial hem.

With a shiner on his upper cheek and blood in his mouth
he was still his even-keeled self, with no time to wince or pout.

As he submerged himself into the forests’ fist
he met a homeless man who wasn’t sure if he’d let him live.

The homeless man had mental health issues and such,
it appeared he was in the thick creating deer guts.

Yes. He had a box-cutter and was suffering a mentally-ill head;
he was slicing deer at the bowels and the deer would drop dead.

Upon discovering PaperBoi in the woods, lip bleeding, and cheek cut –
the homeless man started to stalk PaperBoi – calling him “deer guts.”

The man was nuts. PaperBoi asked the homeless man to ‘please not follow!’,
the homeless man put the box-cutter to PB’s throat; making it hard to swallow.

It was some truly hairy stuff.
PaperBoi started to tear up – but he was not cut.

The homeless man didn’t relent but kept the box-cutter at his throat.
PaperBoi had just dodged a bullet in the street and this was like ‘whoa!’

So, he took a chance and fell backward – away from the blade at his throat.
Then he ran through the lush green as if he was a starved and grazing goat.

He did not eat the green, but he didn’t let the forest eat him either.
Had my dad’s life not been so comparably wild,  I’d call the writers outliers.

The show is crazy fantastic; though the stories still ring real.
I’ve got a thing for PaperBoi and Donald Glover’s ATLANTA appeal.

That was episode 8, don’t get me started on episode 9,
but PB, Darius, Earnie, and Tracy wandered across a culture line.

A frat pajama party that PaperBoi was due to perform
lead him to a frat house with a Confederate flag, major weed, and little alarm.

Did you happen to see the show?
It’s about trees, again – but the one folks blow.

Oy PaperBoi and cousin Earnie! It’s a pleasure for me to dig your style,
I’m Qui
Missing the south but no reason to pout, for your series, is relatively wild!
