Fubar FARGO

fargo-multi-frame

My goodness, my word
have you seen this show or heard?

It’s got my man Jeffrey Donovan in it, from “Notice” — um, “Burn.”
He’s in character so deep, it’s hard to believe it was learned.

TBS birthed BURN NOTICE but FX is the network bringing the whoa
that is a recollection of real events that collided in or with FARGO.

Have you seen the show? We’re in pretty deep and this is just season two.
Meaning if you’ve got the guts, there’s still time to catch up – for you.

Me? What about me? What can I tell you about the show…
Well it’s all action and less fashion and a whole lot of mortal whoas.

Uh! and Oh! – both star in this show, aka their nickname is Mayhem.
So many subplot stories herein, the whole platform is bound to cave-in.

Sin-on-top-of-Sin…. each primary trying to cover it up in the FARGO snow.
The cop, the butcher, the prosecutor and the mafia bosses are all “A GO!”

And to even think about turning every party in to face the legal bar,
Sheriff — was advised by another legal man to do so is equivalent to “FUBAR.”

FUBAR? You know what the 5-letter acronym stands for and bet,
the sheriff was warned of pending harm; this case is ‘a sign-off to your death.’

At anytime, either one of the cast could be a “fatal no show.”
The storyline is based off of true events and lo

the family names have been changed to protect the survivors.
If I were a survivor of such events, I’d tell the stories of neither.

The storyline is so fantastic I cringe even harder when I inhale “it is true.”
Todays headlines have nothing on yesterdays FARGO crimes — and that’s the current day truth.

But let satellite news tell it — and my goodness, in todays life of crime, [America scoffs] “We have never!
I solute the producers and writers, those Fargo exciters – I think your display of history is clever.

Hulu has the full episodes and it’s not too late for you to catch up,
that is if you have the imagination…that is if you have the historical guts.
The contents of this show are A-1 #CutUp.

I caught the end of the first season by chance;
however from day 1, season 2 and I have danced.

What are you watching this Fall? What historical info do you know?

STRAIN, Rinse and STRAIN again

In Communication, Griot, Networking, TV Shows on August 17, 2015 at 10:21 am

fx-strainFX is nasty, but I keep on watching
and THE STRAIN is the series of late, that I’ve been clocking.

Some type of virus has taken ahold…
to deliver mankind to a vampiring soul.

This seasons virus has evolved along with the writers hand.
It’s not seamless, but this direction is one that I creatively understand.

Last season on The Strain, bald vampires – via mouth, extended tracheas from their neck,
the tip of which injects poison and the life of the victim was immediately checked.
Zombie born; mortally wrecked.

This season reveals mutation. The darn strain has evolved from the zombie walk
via younger victims – equipping them with speed and a side-crawl.

Vaun and his hoodied team of Ancients are all dead.
They were casualties of an ultraviolet laser bed.

There’s a new Ancient in town and he’s been in the council circle.
I can’t quote ‘what’ they discussed in particular because the elders just gurgle.

strain-augustine-e

Augustine Elizalde is played by Miguel Gomez

Government is vexed, scrambling to quarantine and find a mass cure.
Augustine is a natural warrior; of his survival, he is sure.

He’s taken on a lead role in maneuvering through the streets like a ghost.
It’s a darn shame what the strain has done to NY and the East Coast.

The writers have switched it up and Ephraim ‘done cut off all of his hair
and Prof. Abraham‘s background is getting more of the spotlights share.

Eldritch Palmer and Thomas Eichorst discuss the Master and his grand plans.
Palmer wants to talk to the Master personally but cock-blocking of Eichorst stands.

The evolution the their “Masters” plan is a real humanity intrusion.
Zack‘s biological mother is the zombie mom to the new bred vampire evolution.

Zack’s dad is Ephraim, the CDC doctor working to make things right,
ISO a resolution to seize the terrors that prey on their lives at night.

S2 – Episode 6 showed Dr. Nora in transit with Zack whilst the sky was dim
when his zombie strain-infected mom showed up with plans to retrieve him.

The name of this episode is appropriately titled: IDENTITY
and when it comes to cast members – this series has plenty.

strain-Vaun-and-Fitzwilliams

Both [Ancient] Vaun and [Human] Fitzwilliams have gotten GOT!

If you aren’t lost by now because in fact you are glued
let us talk a little bit about the lone black dude.

Reggie Fitzwilliam is historical in the Strains seams –
orignal script painted him white, casting agents yielded a black dream.

Fitzwilliam bore a knights sheen, but that was cut down and put in check
when in Episode 6, one of the new breeds bit him and Prof. Abraham took his neck.

Yep. It was brief, he was memorable and he is now a free agent; an opportunity batter.
Roger Cross fully transforms into Six on the SYFY series DARK MATTER.

Have you seen it? You should give it a try.
The script isn’t too dark, but it is worlds apart – still Roger Cross is nigh.
Oh my, Oh my…

Back to The Strain and the nastiness that it entails,
the Master shot his strained batter into the another human shell.

Down went the ogre monstrosity that roamed the gutter in hump back fashion,
he has assumed the body of that rock-n-roll fella resembling Marilyn Manson.

And he is new again – no more ancient, overgrown body,
still I’d be lying if I said his new look was closer to hottie.

No. Not at all.
However, now he is of average height and not so freakishly tall.
The character remains consistent with looking disgusting, y’all.

The evolution of this series is on the sprawl, so many new sucklings have taken root,

Running down these shows with thee, The Strain wins “most interesting reboot.”

I know this choice of show is a tad bit sick, but you knew from the jump, “I was a SCI FI chick!”

A diverse RANT

In Griot, News, Politics, TV Shows on October 12, 2011 at 2:54 pm

Boy oh! Boy oh! Herman Cain is riding the polls
#Occupy protestors keep “the streets” on swoll,
and hyping up Rick Perry has alas run cold.

Politics is fun and so I’m keeping up,
BoFA still wants 5 – and I ain’t got enough.
Cain’s 999 plan is sketchy, raw & rough,
and Dylan McDermott looks good in the buff.

What?!
You haven’t seen FX‘s American Horror Story?
The old PRACTICE legal – sports his birthday glory.
Glued to the tube I pretend he’s doing it just for me. lol.:)

The Young & The Restless is constantly new
Sophia’s bun in the oven is finally due
The daddy’s are pending – a choice between two.

She slept with two brothers, (what a scandalous appeal).
The father is either Malcolm Winters or his big brother Neil.
A classic remake of Lily’s scripted life — fiction real.
I love those soaps with the gritty LAVA feel.

Nothing is as dirty or filthy as how Wall Street plays it
We need a soap opera to parallel how they lay it.
I’d like to work on the writing team that will script the “say it”.

I’d be open and honest – holding no punches with me.
I’d be more blunt that NJ’s Chris Christie,
and more addictive than those donuts made by Kreme Krispy.

Boy oh! Boy oh!
I’m enjoying the surge in ‘the price of gold’,
because I’ve got jewelry to sell – truth be told,
and mortgage rates are pleasantly on the low.
Oh-ohhhh.

I feel good about it yo! I feel good about the day!

Whispering Ghosts withold No Secrets

In TV Shows on April 7, 2010 at 12:07 am

The Ghost Whisperer & Jack Bauer

Yep! I’m a fan of “The Ghost Whisperer” starring Jennifer Love Hewitt as Melinda Gordon. Recent reports cite that she and her former co-star/boyfriend Jamie Kennedy have split up. The 30 year old actress from Waco, TX is once again single and it’s not entirely a bad look for her. Considering Jennifers recent quotes about “being cheated on alot”, I’d say perhaps the recent split could be a blessing indisguise.

The dead are talking…and she is listening. Do you watch the show? Have you ever watched an episode? I suppose it’s for SYFY types like myself who believe in the whole “life after death” thing. Me? I’m not psychic, but I am quite sensitive. My 5 physical senses work pretty good, but my sixth senses are what really guides me alot of the time. I think I could easily classify myself as being “intuitively STRONG”. How about you? Have you ever seen a ghost? How about an Angel? Have you ever spoken to either? Perhaps to answer favorably to either of the latter questions would classify you as “a loon” to your peers — maybe “slightly off”, therefore you banish the thought that your intution could be anything other than “a hunch” or “a coincidence”. Either way — I always give first credit to GOD for all of my intuitive interventions. I don’t believe in coincidences, and I always listen to my gut. Are you listening?

The Ghost Whisperer series is well into it’s 5th season and I don’t see any reason to stop it anytime soon. I’ve mentioned before that “the afterlife” must be a pretty hot topic to many because show’s like this one – just won’t go away. CBS knows a money maker when they see one, and well…. 104 episodes aired (and counting) would definitely classify as “a success” by any shows standards. Right? I didn’t even know Jen was from TX until today — what a refreshing credit to the Lone Star State. Jennifer has an awesome career and stars in an awesome show. I must say I liked it alot better when Aisha Tyler was on it, but I think she traded her ghostly gig for more freedom. Since then she’s gone on to do several shows including her current animation role on FX’s “ARCHER“.

I’ve been a fan of Aisha Tyler for years, especially during her short stint on FOX’s 24. She was honing the helms of CTU until it was discovered that Aisha’s character [Marianne Taylor] was a double agent & well….the writers of the show had to “put her down”. 24 is so unpredictable. That’s why we love it. The roster is chock full of dead characters…just like The Ghost Whisperer. Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) knocks ’em off and Melinda Gordon listens to them afterwards. Perhaps these two could “hook up”. lol! What do you think?

JUSTIFIED

In Movies, TV Shows on March 16, 2010 at 10:37 pm

Did you catch the FX Series Premier of JUSTIFIED? Bullseye! This show misses nothing and no one unlawful. US Marshal Raylan Givens of Kentucky kind of reminds me of Clint Eastwood character but in todays era. AWESOME! The show is based on the infamous character created by prolific crime-writer Elmore Leonard (Get Shorty, Out of Sight), “Justified” stars Timothy Olyphant as U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens. Tonight, the hardcore Marshal returned to his hometown of Harlan, Kentucky to flush out a clan of white supremacists and clean up a lawless town.

Peep Trailer #1 here and if you’d like to see more, either scout around YOUTUBE or click on the Elmore Leonard link to experience the creators weblog – it’s full of video trailers for upcoming shows. Enjoy!

The premier was earthy & I’m sure it connected with audiences across the sun.
It had the feel of a few classic shows I might I seen when I was young:

Man Ruling Law with a JUSTIFIED truce
‘If you draw on him first – he will shoot you’.
Ooooo!
It had a little humor in it too.

The Writers are OFF-THE-HOOK and the Irony was thick,
I’m Qui
and I’m certain I’ll “series record” this original FX flick.

The series premier was a HIT!!!
I loved it.
