GOOD FRIDAY – Leg & Thigh Day

Good Friday
is work on leg and thigh day.

Lord knows that I need the work.
God gifted me an awesome body and I want to utilize its worth.

Don’t eat everything in that Easter Basket, it will yield you girth.  
Man shall not live on snacks alone, but by God’s every word.

A snack is comparable to your mother telling you that God loves you,
but when you comprehend the Bible for yourself you solidify your relationship; it’s true.

Me? I’m up early researching and reading.
411 brings in the day, therefore I’m up eating.

Do you have a good friend? Then they would tell you,
Have faith in God above and He will always see you through.

There are no weapons formed that can harm you.
Learn the word of God and it will protect you.

Today is Good Friday…
my workout leg and thigh day

because I always intend
to stand in the word and let God in.

When the stone was rolled away from the tomb of our Lord,
the world rejoiced and the saints partied hard.

Wasn’t that protocol in earlier times regarding Good Friday night?
Let generations return to celebrate specific inspired by encouraging writes.

Today is Good. Today is Friday.
I stand on the word of God; my Leg & Thigh day.

What’s in your basket? Don’t wait until Easter Sunday
to celebrate Jesus’ return and put hopelessness away.

It’s Good Friday, y’all and I am a recipient of the blessings herein.

And then GOOD comes in…

If-at-first-you-don_t-succeed

Just when you thought you’d ease up on “the push of the grind” to self improve —
Ol’ GOOD comes in and reinforces your DO GOOD mood.

Do it –  things for yourself, because your loyalty and perseverance is strong.
This EASTER weekend raise yourself up.  Putting you last — has gone on too long.

The GOOD Book says Jesus arose from the dead after 1 day + 2.
Trust me He did it because He had love for the GOOD in you.

The GOOD can be found in lifes many silver linings;
good-thumbs-upthose nuggets of hope that come from love mining.

Life can look bleak and sometimes make you feel lonely and without a friend
but just when you think to throw in the towel is usually when the GOOD comes in.

So go ahead, get to it! Reach that point where you just don’t care
so that God can have a guardian show up to remind you that He’s right there!

It’s Friday baby, and a GOOD one at that,

Release the stone that’s held you down too long. Good Friday is up to bat.
For you to Rise again… a Revival. You deserve that.

ENJOY LIFE TODAY
and the GOOD therein.

Historical Future ART Mash

Merging TIME into ART

Yep! That’s the best I can do to with the headline of this article: “Historical Future ART Mash”. For these are the words that roll off of my lips when I think of Fab 5 Freddy and his works.

Aside from being my mentor on a myriad of subjects, Fab5Freddy is a living legend documented in hundreds of art gallery databases including the Smithsonian Museum. How proud am I of his accomplishments to our American, Pop, Hip Hop, and intellectual culture? 😀

Have you ever seen this man out of character or out-of-order? If you said “NO” – some would argue with you on that — and their immediate case in point would be Fab’s recent glitzy exhibition that appears to glorify violence (boxing) and sex (strippers on poles), [Crystal Punch Exhibition @ The Cosmopolitan – Las Vegas]. However, it is clear that those who would make such an argument do not live in the real world. For sex, violence, water and love is what this country runs on. So please don’t insult my intelligence.😉

Sharp, FAB 5 FREDDY and Futura in Los Angeles last week

ART NET Magazine also ran into Fab5 (at some point) during the week,
and gave literal props to the legends work in their piece on : “ART in The Street”.

Though one of my favorite pieces – written this time last week
was the one mentioning F5F’s expansive legacy – on HYPEBEAST.

Fab is a story teller capturing moments in time.
Fab got his famous mention for writing BLONDIE that line.

Look how he’s evolved – PURPOSE queries solved. He’s a vet @ what he’s doing.
I’ve always said, life is a lot like sex and Mr. Brathwaite is Fabulously screwing.
