The day started out cordially with a cup of joe, an orange juice mimosa, a mini cinnamon roll, two pieces of bacon, and quickly escalated to FUBAR debuting characters Luke, Emma, Roo, Aldon, and Barry in Netflix’s new spy series. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, as protagonist CIA Spy, Luke Brunner, the production is on fire. The Comedy series can’t help but scream “kinsman to the 1994 TRUE LIES film, but studios insist ‘nothing could be further from the truth. I hear them, but as an original fan of the film , please believe me when I say, Fubar feels a lot like the proper sequel to the film.
The cast is impressive and rises to match Arnold’s camera charisma in every single scene. Arnold plays Luke, a divorcee, due to “the hazards of being a CIA Spy, like going underdover with a hot chick or two… He maintains a Kosher relationship with his ex-wife, Tally (portrayed by Fabiana Udenio) and their two children, Emma (Monica Barbaro), and her brother Carter, (Devon Bostick).
Fubar has a connecting & familiar feel to it, like True Lies (1994). And because of that, Fubar yields to easy audience acceptance unlike CBS’s TRUE LIES Series.
I don’t think that one series production (talent or budget) is any better than the other, however, Netflix’s Fubar script composition and talent chemistry is on par to connect with and expand out what Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger started 29 years ago.

Still on vacation, I can’t help but peep the FUBAR view,
do a relative comparison and report back to you.
Now, without further adieu, I have to turn the page,
pick up my cocktail, and continue to “holiday.”
Next up on our screening dock is another well-scripted, dimensionally talented ‘no forgetter.
