Thursday is a great day to focus on a new pair of shoes,
and fashion the purse to not be a holder of blues.

NEWS PURUSE – Chatting It Up

NEWS PERUSE_GossipNow that I’m watching the race a little closer – I turned the television back on
to see Mike Bloomberg on ‘The Bloom’ and his campaign growing strong.

I’m a forgiving lady, still I wanted to know more
about Mr.Bloomberg, his word, and his Mayoral score.

So I called up my cousins ex sister-in-law in Brooklyn, to ask her to divvy
me the goods on when Bloomberg governed over New York City.

Y’all, it wasn’t pretty and only  because I really do care
I promised her I’d Griot the info and drop it here, to share.

She said quite a bit and I wasn’t recording the call,

It was eye-opening among other things.
He, too, prefers to govern like a king:

The New Yorker remarked that when Bloomberg was Mayor she pushed through jeers;
the weight of not getting a raise from her city employed-gig for about 8-years.

Uh-uhn. I don’t think I’m ready to swallow. I am not interested in another play date.
I do not want to babysit another rich guy in the White House; I’m looking forward to the debates.

The ladies and I are hooking up this eve. We will be watching.

There are several campaigns that we are watching; we’re not interested in lies.
We know Bloomberg is a target-market genius – we’ll look past his eyes.

We’ll be checking out Elizabeth Warren, Bernie and Amy Klobachar, too.
We are black and have love for Biden. It’s the patriotic thing to do.

Let’s make today fun – but let’s not run through it too quick.
Let’s also keep in mind that the ME TOO Hashtag is not a schtick.

Vice President Biden is currently listening and taking all to heart
on whether his style of charisma is or isn’t an offensive flint-start.

I think you know the answer; Biden’s humanity is noted history,
When the VP yields support, folk don’t generally think it a mystery.

It’s not like he’s ever grabbed a woman by the pussy or tit.
It’s not like he’s insisted on tongue hockey at a meet & greet kiss.

That’s another dude…
tiny hands, orangey-rude.

Offenses are plenty; intentions are salty and sweet.
Don’t be blind to intentions; take another look at the former VP.

The beauty of today is too stunning to stay in bed and sleep.
I’m up on my toes with little-to-no-woes, awaiting dawns meet.

It’s April 1st — let’s go out and play.
