Good morning beloved. How are you this morn? I’m awake, for opportunity’s take; I’m bright eyed with no yawn.

How art thou, multimedia kin? The week’s halfway – we’re halfway in.

I am poised to watch LOVECRAFT COUNTRY at its begin. Are you on-board with the series? it’s a Jordan Peele kin.

I am enjoying Angela Bassett’s husband starring as George Freeman. Jurnee Smollett and Jonathon Majors are Jim-Crow-surviving friends.

The series centers around negro and witch hunting. Episode 1 starts out with a lot of gunning,

but the melanin prey gets away to live another day. Misha Green is the co-creator with Jordan who birthed the way.

Lovecountry Craft airs at primetime on Sunday’s. With no UNDERGROUND series, HBO get’s all the play:

HBO – Based on Matt Ruff’s novel of the same name, Lovecraft Country follows Atticus Freeman (Jonathan Majors) as he meets up with his friend Letitia (Jurnee Smollett) and his uncle George (Courtney B. Vance) to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father (Michael Kenneth Williams). This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback.

Lovecraft Country is executive produced by showrunner Misha Green along with J.J. Abrams, Jordan Peele, Bill Carraro, Yann Demange, Daniel Sackheim, and David Knoller.

Are you watching this series? O’ do tune in. Sunday evening episode 3 will begin.

The rise of the sun always yields vampires a good singe… Season one is so much fun that the number of episodes produced are 10. Let the fight begin!

WGN-underground8:15am — Good morning, Good morning! Let us do go down
to that WGN “Harriet Tubman spin“; the new series UNDERGROUND.

Have you been checking it out? It’s fresh and in its first season.
It’s the beginnings of our country. Framing history – is my viewing reason.

Sure I saw the mini-series:ROOTS. It’s a commitment to watch.
Underground puts it all in the round on a 60-min clock.

Weekly. I believe it broadcasts primetime on every Hump Day.
I DVR because the writing is sharp – history-piecing is at play.

The cast is exciting and they are quite on fire,
there was even a cameo by Jussie Smollett from Empire.

The main cast members are a mixed bag with great flow,
but lets go deeper, UNDERGROUND past the headline photo:

The actors are phenomenal, wading swamp waters and running barefoot on stones and grass…
Talk about “all terrain!” I blame the above the line creative cast:

This show is by no means a race to the finish but a slow and steady sprint.
This is ‘foundational worthy’ stuff – it has the potential to rehabilitate ‘the fringe.’

What ‘fringe?’ You may ask? What in the world am I talking about today?
I think this show is perfect to put into perspective our issue with RACE.

It’s something about the melanin in a black mans face that let’s all who look upon him save:
It is the look that history took and for centuries, reigned over and regarded him [them] as slaves.

It’s the beginnings of why your black neighbor may not smile, or be so quick to trust.
But if we look deeper at UNDERGROUND we may find the healing ingredients we need to thrust

us onto the next level. The ingredients look like understanding and human relation.
I’m Qui
Happy Friday to thee, I’m digging UNDERGROUND – it’s an early look at the foundation of our nation.

Are you looking? Drop in on the story of my kin,
UNDERGROUND airs on Wednesdays – primetime on WGN.
