Good evening beloved. How are you today?
Are you propelling forward in a bold and defined way?

My journey is a mixed bag; I’m enjoying the route.
How’s that project that you’re working on, working out?

Mine are going well; I am working on two.
I’m spearheading both while Griot’ing with you.

Wear many hats much? Indeed, I do.
It’s fun, it’s exhausting, and worth it, too.

What’s going on in the news is interesting indeed.
I’m concerned about Congress and Manchurian seeds.

Need I say more?
It’s election time, again. Who will win the score?

Uh, 1-2. Uh, 1-2. Your life is about you.
Uh, 1-2. Uh, 1-2. What you do unto others will be done to you.

Uh, 1-2. Uh, 1-2. Let us comprehend what is good for the whole.
Uh, 1-2. Uh, 1-2. Worship no man in this land, lest you torture your own soul.

The crispness in the Fall air makes me appreciate the weather –
and reminds me of the season of thanks that usually pulls us all together.

Are you ready? This year should be much different than the last.
With Covid being less mobile we can congregate, again and laugh.

Vaccines yields us a glimpse of our blessed past…
I pray that our global healing isn’t a fad feeling and spreads fast.

I really miss traveling; traveling the skies was my jam.
But for all I see via news reports on T.V. — flying etiquette is all-be-damned.

Perhaps I’ll stay home and slice a ham, or I’ll make another road trip.
Time is nonrefundable and familial love is wonderful, like wine – anytime is good for a sip.

With biologically pouted lips I stretch to smile,
as I enjoy technology and you for a while.

What have you been up to, child? I pray thee do tell
so that I can hump-up on your good fortunes for a spell.

Life is good and I know the tube can’t show it all…
Creatively, I am tending serial seeds that are thriving without stall.

I’m truly happy, y’all. What about you?

Humping Happy this eve. What are you humping onto?

Days left in the general work week are two.
Make them count for and towards the good of you.

Good morning beloved. How are you today? Are you ready to go forward in a bold new way?

I’m bright-eyed, bushy tailed, and already in route. How’s that project that you’re working on, working out?

Mine are actually going well; I am working on two. I’m spearheading both while griot’ing with you.

Wear many hats much? Indeed, I do. It’s fun, it’s exhausting, and worth it, too.

What’s going on in the news is a shame and a whoa. The lame seek to rest on a lumpy pillow.

Lumpy bedding will no doubt hurt my neck, so I opted to rise early and do a Good News Peruse check.

Uh, 1-2. Uh, 1-2. Your life is about you.  Uh, 1-2. Uh, 1-2. What you do to others will be done to you.

Uh, 1-2. Uh, 1-2. We have to comprehend what is good for the whole.  Uh, 1-2. Uh, 1-2. Worship no man in this land, lest you lose your soul.

The crisp in the winter air today makes me appreciate the weather — and reminds me of the biopic I watched this weekend on SALT-N-PEPA.

Did you see it? It was kind of hard to locate.  I got rid of Lifetime when my DirecTV went away.

I dropped satellite television at the top of 2020 — for a larger frame of multi-apps, and movie access o’ plenty.

Had it not been for a colleague from New York, I’d have missed the opportunity to be a reviewing sport.

I saw it, and I watched it well. The show was quite the show-and-tell.

If you didn’t see it, then I watched it for you. Click the social ad below to read the review:

I like to SHOOP and I love to Push a good write. I do it in the daytime, I do it in the night.

Poetry  & world chronicling to me, feels alright. I definitely like to Shoop, and I might just PUSH IT tonight.

Alright-alright, that’s enough on the layered word play – at least on this subject of ‘the rise, the fall; the breakaway.’

This week has been strong in presenting itself  as “willing to” – sift through all that’s on the floor to get to the good of me and you.

I’m on the floor. I’m sifting. I want to find that particular thread – that causes a united lightbulb of kisses-and-hugs to go off in your head.

It probably has carpet and dirt on it. But love will clean it; it’s so ionic.

Please HUMP LOVE. I am on it and it feels pretty good,

Good morning, beloved. Find the high point in your hood

The weekend was swell; the weekend went hard. Raise your hand if you watched the American Music Awards?

It aired last night, but I saw none, — I was deep into short film reviews and app-streaming sums.

It has to be done; someone has to watch all of the indie submits.  Most are creative and well crafted – I fall for dialogue and quips.

Action films are a hit and new series’ can “free time impale.”  Speaking of, I heard we may soon have a serial “Waiting to Exhale.”

Had you heard? Porsha Williams DISH‘ed out the word.

You guys know that I love la Bella Porsha; she is a real ride-or-die. — So, Mr. Daniels, if you’re reading this, “please send Porsha “Robin Stokes’ sides.”

Porsha feels confident that she could play the part well.
Doesn’t everyone love a Cancer with a soft shell?

The Zodiac, Cancer – not the illness.
More diverse roles for Porsha is my multimedia request.

Missy Elliot always hails “best” when I think of random acts of kindness, — via a Twitter post, she was invoked to buy a bride-to-be’s wedding dress.

We all must support our lacking community.

It’s imperative we look past imperfections and towards unity.

That is the goal.

The FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR’s cast reunion is healing gold.

If unity was a tangible product, 4-days ago it was sold.
Black don’t crack; no cast member has grown old.

Well, Lil Nikki grew up but he still looks the same,
the size of his clothes is all that has changed.

The reunion was recollection-amazing.
The 80’s television industry did a lot of raising —

and I am so grateful for that.
Didn’t see it? Go ‘head and run it back.
You can find The FRESH FAM on HBO Max.

Good Monday morning, kinfolk, and how do you do?
It’s day 1 again. What have you got planned for you?

Will unity in the community show up and come through?
