The 1st POWER Hour

In Communication, Griot, Networking, Self Improvement, TV Shows on August 26, 2019 at 11:43 am

Last night was Day 1 of STARZ’s finale season of POWER starring Omari Hardwick,
and Poncho got smoked because Tommy ain’t no ‘witch.

You get it — what I’m saying, but did you see it?
It was 9 scenes after Tommy and Ghost’s beef/riff.

LaLa was pleasantly curvaceous and strapped in her scenes.
Her son, Cash has grown up; he curses now – and everything…

Agent Saxe is running around thinking that Ghost killed AUSA Angela Valdez.
Tommy put one in her chest while trying to put one in Ghost’s head.

You read what I said. It happened on POWER.
I sat on the edge of my seat for the entire Hour.

32-minutes in and Tommy pulls a gun on Poncho
because he said Tommy “ain’t shit without Ghost.”
Woah.

Poncho got smoked.
The 1st POWER Hour wasn’t no joke.

Let Poncho be a lesson to the lot of us
that the rest of the finale season of POWER may be ruthless and rough.

The creative writers of this narrative series have guts. I’m watching and nail-biting.
Still, I stay tuned because the power of the write is stimuli/exciting.

Proctor showed up on the scene just to get inside of Federal crosshairs.
Tasha told Ghost that she wants a divorce; she’s done with being a pair.

AUSA Angela Valdez and her sister.

Angela Valdez’s sister gave Ghost a piece of her mind.
He offered to pay for her funeral and the gesture was met ‘unkind.

Angela’s sister is now working with Agent Saxe
in a move to avenge Angela; to get Ghost back.

Tasha kept calling Terry Silver’s cell phone with certain thoughts in her head
like this is the only way to hear his voice– her gut feeling says “he’s dead.”

And I think that her gut right.
LaKeisha threw a gun into the bay in the middle of the night.
See what I mean about “written delights?”
She was fulfilling Tommy’s request; helping to protect his life.

He killed Angela with that gun.
Yes! The 1st POWER Hour was so much fun.

10-minutes to the 60-minute mark and Ghosts sits in a parked SUV loading another firearm.
A great deal of ART IMITATING LIFE is seen in this episode; a reflection of peril and alarm.

Tarik found a noir way to connect with Ghost over the phone
channeling his own pain of loss since Kanan’s gone.

Perhaps it was all “theatrics.” Crazy stuff.
Such a POWERful ride is bound to be rough.

Popping collars and pulling cuffs – I’m glad that this season is alive and well,
I’m Qui
Tommy and Jason saw the bullets Ghost’s unleashed and vow to send him to hell.

The 1st POWER Hour was no walk in the park.
At the end of Episode 1, Ghost is single and in the dark.

She had weed in her backpack

Not just any kind of weed but a very high grade of weed. She called me on the phone frantic saying, “Mommi! Mommi! Someone put weed in my backpack!” I was asleep when I answered the call and hearing my child scream those words on the other end woke me up quicker than a triple expresso shot. I was up, dressed, and wearing Mac Ruby Woo lipstick when I arrived at her school 12 minutes after the call.

K104 has been [97.9] BEAT OUT

It hasn’t been the same since NANNETT LEE & a few other names…

[RADIO in Dallas, TX] What happened here? Dallas was known for playing the crunkest street jams on the radio and K104was at the helms.

The year was 1993 – SKIP MURPHY was on the scene and NANNETT LEE was a part of The K104 Morning Team. The laughs were great, the community support was fantastic and no one could rally up the people for a good cause better than K104 and The Morning Team. It’s true. They became an a.m. staple. Only K104 could start the day off with a corny inspirational “I LOVE SCHOOL” song sung by sunday school kids and have the whole community not only ‘love it’ but actually look forward to it at the start of their day. Once in the car and in route to work/school the a.m. chemistry and 4-1-1 couldn’t be beat. We laughed. We cried. Sometimes we laughed until we cried — and the community was on one accord. …click here to continue the K104 read

Next Day Air‘s SHAVOO is DARK BLUE‘s Cast Co-star: Omari Hardwick (he plays Ty Curtis) . Thank God for TNT. After seeing , Next Day Air with Mos Def, Donald Faison (from Scrubbs), Mike Epps, and Darius McCrary (from Family Matter, Y&R [current], and SUPERHEAD), I developed a craving for a little more SHAVOO. Before I even begin, I think I should hush
It’s obvious upon Omari Hardwick – I have a crush.

In no rush to see the DARK BLUE series ever come to an end
TNT’s got SHAVOO (whose lips are like Oooo) – TNT is my friend. (-:

The series itself has a rough and edgy spin.
The writing is exciting; the cast invokes an eye candy grin.
…so glad to see Ormari again.

May DARK BLUE continue to get strong and win,
I’m Qui
on a THURSDAY
naught-thought kind of binge.
had I said anymore, the online wires would be singed. 🙂
