I knew this day was coming and as much as I prepared myself for it, week after week, when it finally did happen… well, I’d be lying if I said I was ready. I have been on the edge for weeks now thinking about POWER‘s seasonal fade-to-black and I knew that LOVE & HIP HOP [Atlanta] would be following their lead. Yes, I knew it all had to end at some point, I watched intensely with bated breath.

POWER chose to execute rather than rebuke therefore Kanan found himself in a cellophane situation. He and Ghost were going at it in a tussle, Kanan had a gun, he dropped it. The two beef sided brothers went at it and broke up the surrounding decorum in the process. A body slam maneuver was executed and the men landed hemselves in a floor scuffle. Ghost picked up a dagger shaped piece of glass and slid it into Kanans side. He collapsed; eyes closed. Ghost then took  jug of gasoline and dowsed the premises around Kanan and lit the place on fire as he exited the door.

Yep-yep! That was it and it was cold. Karan got what was coming to him, however before the credits could run the fire investigation revealed there was no body found on the premises. Ghost is unaware of this fact. Who has the POWER now?

Kelenna and her Manager/Hubby Tony

LOVE & HIP HOP [Atlanta] was pretty serious. Kaleena is getting the help that she needs and Tony is back in the managers seat of her career. Margeaux told Nikko that the person that she is currently in a relationship is a woman.  A couple of episodes ago we witnessed Margeaux tell Nikko and his mother that she wanted a divorce. Nikko’s mom asked her was she seeing someone else – Margeaux positively affirmed. Afterwards, mother, son and the viewing public were left to assume with whom? At least now we can appropriately direct her affections for her new love to the pronoun “she.” Nikko asked her if she were gay or bisexual now? His wife responded, “I love from the inside out.”  Well said Margeaux.

Jessica Dime finished up her performance that Mimi arranged for her shortly thereafter she ended her career with MF Management and told Mimi and Stevie J to ‘f@#k off’ right before she exited the scene kicking and screaming.

Do whaaaaaat?

Yes. She did and Stevie J called it “stripper behavior,” after Jessica said more than once (to Stevie J), “I fight N#%%#’s too.” But she wasn’t fighting Joseline – remember when Dime came to see Jos’ at the studio? She chunked her clutch bag, but she wasn’t really stepping to fight.

Speaking of Joseline, the end didn’t look good for her this season. She and Stevie J closed this one out on the rocks. Stevie asked Mimi to consider moving her and their daughter to LA with him. Well not “with him” as in the same home, but he did ask her to relocate and no – I do not think he talked this idea over with Jos prior, but Karlie tried to give her a heads up…

After Joseline’s GAYBORHOOD performance Karlie went backstage with roses and congratulations for Joce’. She told Joce’ that she had run into Mimi and Jos face turned sour. Karlie then dropped the 411 about Mimi saying that Stevie asked her to move to LA. Joseline responded by kicking Karlie out of the dressing room and hitting her in the forehead with the very flowers she bought for Joseline. The 2-women almost went tit-for-tat, but security was quick.

Now in all fairness, I think that Joseline overplayed her response to Karlie due to misplaced emotions. Before hearing Karlie’s 411 Joseline noticed the flowers and note from Stevie J., she opened the letter and began to read the first 2-lines of the letter and put it down and said something to Karlie like, ‘Un-un. I don’t want to read this right now, because Stevie ain’t here,’ and then encouraged Karlie to continue her conversation.  Naturally when Karlie dropped the bomb Joselyn was poised on the edge – ready to react like the ticking time bomb, that she can be and then BOOM! She exploded. It wasn’t a good look, but it happened and kicked Karlie out of her dressing room with he help of security.  Joseline went home alone to that evening to enjoy a mono-bubble bath and champagne for 1. Life is rough sometimes.  Meanwhile Stevie J is in route to LA. without his Puerto Rican Princess.

What is HIP HOP without LOVE? Nikko and Stevie have at episodes point – lost theirs.
Each was a casualty of the music in part, yet both men were surprised and unprepared.

Fair or not Fair the heart loves whom and what it wants.
And Stevie was wrong for singing “the family song” and expecting Mimi to LA haunt.

This was the part that crushed Joseline’s heart and now it’s all messed up.
The Puerto Rican Princess feels hurt and dissed in her bubble lathered tub.

LHHA‘s season finale was a little bit rough,
my patience will pique on until next season, ’cause I can’t get enough.

Everybody needs somebody, Kelenna has T, Rasheed has Kirk and the ‘hustle’ keeps the ‘flow,’
but who the hell is keeping Tasha and the kids? Because Angela is laid up with Ghost.

Oh-oh-oh no. POWER had an exciting finale hour.
Kanan was Copperfield and Ghost’s thing with Tasha is going sour.

Tommy doesn’t trust Ghost either because by golly
Ghost is the one who hosted the name change and relocation of his Holly.

No. Nobody seems to be on Ghosts side.
Even Ange’ has issues that she can not hide.

She turned in her partner – on a charge that’s a lie.
For the consolation of Ghost. Jamie is the big prize.

The episode was titled: GHOST IS DEAD and the resonation of actions were heard,

and I tell you what, Ghost will be dead soon enough if Kanan finds him first.

I know Kanan has his reasons,
so I’ll sit tight until next season…
