The best way to insure that all is not bad
is to compose a piece with copious laughs.

But how is that done?
We can plan for NO MELEE by planning out FUN.

And on this MONDAY we need some; just a few laughs.
So I dropped in on Rickey for that morning-yawning pass.

Rickey Smiley is known for group laughter jams!
But first let’s roll it back to Ms. Juicy and the fam,
and that day she was mad at Frederick Douglas’ hair… hot damn. πŸ˜›

It’s Monday, No Melee because life is too short.
I’m not summoning Juicy; that thought is a thwart.

I love Ms. Juicy and Rickey Smiley too.
Good Morning, Goodness, I’m also loving on you.

How do you do? What have you got planned for the day?
Whatever it is, dabble not in melee.

We both agree. Eh? I’m up and ready to shine.
I’ve got my life, my health, and my good mind.

What are you sporting today?
A great attitude detours melee.

Melee must be the word to watch out for today.
I say as much with a brow up, because Monday’s are fun days.

So let us follow through.
Todays positive reinforcement will be provided by YOU.

Reading is fundamental and is an activity that I enjoy best.
Join me for a few side-crackers over at READERS DIGEST.

You gotta laugh; we gotta get it in.
If the jokes aren’t fresh let the corn in:

Ain’t nothing wrong with a little corn…
especially on a Monday morn.

Obvious word play
is perfect for a vowel with no Melee
Wouldn’t you say?

Laugh a little today and share a corny joke.
Reach for it like you do candy, liq, or smokes.

It’s much, much better for your diet.
Calories from candy and liq bring the fat riot.

And we certainly don’t need that.
A hard laugh helps to burn tummy fat.

So let’s get to laughing, good people…and let’s do it today.
Rickey and friends are a great begin for leading the comical way.

Especially if you’re in the mood for no melee, please bellow loudly.
I’m Qui
Laughing with thee; to influence Monday’s mood; proudly.

Thank you for joining in. Now share a joke influenced by your spin.
Reject melee, laugh and win.

Always FORGO

But you can still LAUGH at him. πŸ˜›

Feel good music is inspirational. I grew up on it. It is largely the springboard that has propelled us to what popular music is today. But does it still make us feel good?

RICKEY SMILEY is not a Musician, he is a Comic, and Radio/TV/Film Show Producer who’s been in the Broadcast game for more than 20-years. I’ve written about Rickey before and we all sang “Camel Toe.” Remember? Good times and surprisingly all the more, there was good music in that stand-up. Today many musicians refer to him as Uncle Rickey because of his Supportive Multi Industry Producer moves. Rickey is also a long time team member of DISH NATION Radio/TV broadcast out of Atlanta and into 60+ other markets nationwide.

Rickey has a long reputation of always being Live, Funny, and Honest with the Black American Community. I follow him because he’s a successful and affective influencer. Peep Rickey’s thoughts on Hip Hop’s “feel good factor:”

What’s missing in the music?

I enjoy “Inspirational/Christian Rap,” but surely positivity extends ages beyond the church. I mean, “people” make up the congregations on Saturday & Sunday. “People” also live in communities all across the world everyday of the week and whether they go to church or not — there is ample opportunity to extend positive inspiration.

This is a great time for music to reclaim the emotional appeal of the people and fill them with positive ideas. Let’s laugh at new comedy and jam out to positive message rap. Why not? You deserve it.

Like Rickey, I listen to a lot of instrumental and chill music because it better accommodates and doesn’t intrude on my positive thoughts in progress. What about you? What are you listening to?

Let’s rap about it. Shall we?

Jam out.

The REEL Players

In Communication, Griot, Networking, News, Self Improvement, Video on July 11, 2016 at 7:09 am

Good morning family. Rise and shine.
I’m up perusing the reel and pressing rewind.

How are you feeling, what objective is yours in kind?
The REEL Players are #DivisionSlayers. Peep their minds – if you have the time:

Surely you know Rickey Smiley?
His comedy drives us to laugh wildly.

Though his heart is far bigger than the stadium masses.
He speaks his mind because he loves our asses. πŸ˜€

And we love him back.
Rickey’s a REEL Player in our broadcast stash.

black-lives-matter-2-copsThen there’s Officer Nakia Jones, I’m sure you’ve heard her story.
A woman of the uniform – she rolls with the punches and revels in the glory.

She was a bit taken by the Louisiana killing view
and spoke from the gut, as a woman of blue:

So what happened next? Did Nakia lose her gig?
No not at all, the departments intentions are not hid.

They did not fire her for her comments, but there was a slight hint
that she may have, in some respect – been on ‘the suspend.’

Though the mayor assures us that Officer Nakia Jones did not lost her gig!
It’s good to know our fam in blue can speak without ruffling superior wigs.
I hope that’s what this is.

There are countless other players, so stay posted and stay tuned,
I’m Qui
Good morning to thee – there’s no time to sleep until noon.

Wake up. Get REEL and Say something.
The masses are listening. The masses are hungry.

Another REEL

score-logo-redAs the day closes down, our REEL list was screaming for a touch-up
thus I had to share with you a broadcast: A la FUX’ed up.

Bigmomma used to say, “If you don’t laugh it’ll make you cry.”
Bigmomma was right, a FUX is always nigh:
