Midway Through, I start to realize the weekend isn’t very far.
I’ve got a flight to catch tomorrow to celebrate – no sorrow,
for in Texas we’ve birthed a new star.

My niece married late last year and is wrapping up year one
with the birth of a son.; proof of their love – productive fun.

I’m so proud of her.
She carried that baby with very little girth.

Me? I’m just showing up in Texas to be Auntie Qui.
Christmas with distant family is what makes it merry.

New life is sweet. Puberty is tricky
and then in comes the teen years — 👉🏾 things get washy & wish’y.

Our 20’s are grand; invincibility is ours.
Our 30’s gift us with insightful powers.

Our 40’s — I’m in them, brings with it peace and blessings.
I’m a much smoother cat. I resolute stressing.

I meditate and pray and then I chat it up with you.
The 40’s are a party; yielding clarity to pick & choose.

Midway Through I’m starting reflect and look back…
I’m standing in this moment as a real cool cat.

I’m enjoying life, I am enjoying you.
I’m a soul observing and I’m enjoying the view.

We’re Midway Through this week and Christmas is in a few days,

Really enjoying WE — and just wanted to drop in and say “Hey.”

Today is gonna be a great day!
