The desert is a lot cooler…

Prayer Shade TreeWhen you’re standing under a shade tree.
In my case that shade tree would be PRAYER.

Do you do it?
Are you into it?

I’m living in Arizona, but I’m from the southern T-X.
I’m a spiritual being & praying is what I do best.

I moved from the 3rd Coast to the desert 7 months ago
and have found myself visiting the Dr. for a myriad of whoas.

There’s sinus and asthma and girl-parts to boot.
Im also trying to find a dentist to fix my broken tooth.
Oooo!

There’s homemaking and filmmaking and a kid that cheerleads –
going to a 90210 school filled with Beamers, Mercedes & weed.

Money rules the day, but that doesn’t make it right.
My brain is pulled multi directional – I sleep hard at night.

I’ve always been a praying girl – though I’m even more on the ball.
I’m out here in the desert with no spiritual family at all.

So I started to the feel the heat with no shade tree to retreat.
Then God showed favor upon me and led me to FCC.

FCC is a Christian Center with plenty of prayerful shade.
the F at the beginning of CC immovably stands for “FAITH”.

Alas The desert is a lot cooler – now that a prayer corner has been found.
It’s not a mirage, it’s rooted in God yielding BIG SHADE all around.

ROL Christian Ministries is my beloved shade tree in TX.
Distance is no issue when good PRAYER still connect us.

I believe in the power with all of my might.
ROL fluidly stands for the “RIVER OF LIFE”.

So I’m a praying girl, and it sure helps me out throughout the day,
I’m Qui
Posted up under a shade tree – always happy and ready to pray.

How’s your life? How’s your day?
Are you living in the shade?

MEDIUM Range

Do you ever watch that CBS series “MEDIUM” starring Patricia Arquette? Gosh I love it. Fridays episode guest starred David Arquette as Allison’s (Patricia’s character) little brother ‘Michael aka Lucky’. The casting was sooo appropriate and totally DNA believable. What I didn’t know is that in the past David has Directed a few of the MEDIUM episodes. How cool is that? Talk about “the family business”…the ARQUETTES are definitely an “acting lineage”.

Do you believe in: the after life, dreams, visions and the likes?
Are you a digger of the show MEDIUM on Friday nights?

Were you a fan of “Crossing Over with John Edwards” when it was on?
I don’t know what happened to it — perhaps the frequency was wrong.

Not the frequency picked up by digital cable or telvisions analog,
but the frequency of taking on the audience through ‘a gift in the nog‘.

I can only imagine how difficult and how hard such an undertaking would have been…
His audience was not only packed with live visitors but also with their “unseen kin”.

I watched the show at its early begin, and the phenomenon seemed intriguing and fun,
then the show was cancelled & shelved on the mantel – making room for MEDIUM.

Patricia’s following grew fast & their domestic cast took John Edwards under,
and CBS has no regrets because their Friday nights bring in good numbers.

I’m watching – are you watching? What is it that makes this show a success?
I’m Qui
and I think it’s because “researching the unknown”, helps put us all at ease about death.

Communication is Crucial

Communication is Crucial

There are so many ways to communicate: by phone, fax, email, snail mail, hand signs, hand gestures, senses & prayers. You should know that hand gestures and hand signing aren’t quite the same method. Hand signs would be utilized in American sign language where hand gestures could be classified under flipping someone off – either way, both forms are viable communication but will yield very different results.

Communicating through Senses and Prayers would be classified under Spiritual and Paranormal. To communicate with a force that is not physical would supersede faxes, snail mail and emails, though the responses are just as concrete as those received in hard copy form.

What? — WORD.

Have you ever watched Ghost Hunters, Crossing Over with John Edwards, Medium or The Ghost Whisperer? There’s obviously a public interest in what lies beyond the physical world & that’s a good thing. To be curious is to be human, since no man is immortal. More good news — there is existence after death. Yep. That’s why the fore mentioned shows exist. They were not drawn out of thin air, they parallel “the goings on that you can not see”. Sixth Sense peep shows, if you will. More and more people are becoming receptive of such unseen reality. Me? I’ve never questioned it. They exist among us, in the quieter space. It saddens me that people don’t acknowledge the spirits of their past loved ones, even when they feel their presence. If you have life, you will have death and I don’t think it’s going to feel that great to be forgotten about so soon.

Wondering about Heaven and Hell? Oh – I’m sure they have their place in the spiritual world, but until the rapture takes place – body or not – we’ll all be here waiting. So the next time you find yourself engulfed in thought about a past loved one, say their name aloud and ask them how they’re doing? It’ll freak them out, but the acknowledgement will keep them around – because it feels good to be remembered. Communication is not dead…that only applies to the body.

Communication is Key, and I am…
