PEACE and the DEUCE

In Communication, fitness, Networking, Self Improvement on January 17, 2018 at 10:47 am

peaceI’m currently feeling both: PEACE and the DEUCE. While driving away from my 7:15a.m. yoga class at the Tao Healing Center, at approximately 8:45a.m., I threw up the DEUCE as the view of the building became smaller in my rear view mirror. I was completely submerged in PEACE. I harnessed it in class. The class promptly started at 7:15 but I was about 10 minutes late. Tsk-Tsk and shame on me, right? Well, actually, I was bringing with me a guest and she was a bit delayed so, I kind-of made up for it. Kind-of. 🙂

We stretched, tapped & patted our bodies into an awakened state, our blood pumped more fluidly and circulated with more ease… we breathed in a space encompassed with the sounds of dole drums and hums. It was magical. I prayed, gave thanks (internally) and meditated in the space. I felt the energy of the man meditating in front of me. It was beautiful. I don’t know his name, but gosh I enjoyed his energy. He didn’t speak a word, he was a mere participant in class, but his energy? I enjoyed it so much, that I had to comment to him at the end of class. He received my appreciation. Namaste.

the-deuceThe instructor’s name of this morning’s class was Bretta; she’s also known as PEACE, (her spiritual name). I didn’t learn this information until the close of class. I should have known! That’s the exact feeling that washed over us during the 1.25-hours that we were in class with her.

This is how I began my day and pray that you began yours with PEACE, also. However, if a vibe of negativity is working on your nerves right now – I beseech thee, upon reading this to give it the DEUCE.

If you find an excess of politics divvying out energetic strife —
You could probably use a little bit of Tao Yoga in your life.

I know I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again:
meditation and prayer have got to be your best friends.

How could they not?
Hell is still too hot. 😉

You know what I’m saying? You get the point – I’m sure.
You, acknowledging your body may be part of the cure

to keeping ill vibes from infecting your spirit and soul.
Kinfolk, today’s Tao Yoga class was worth my weight in gold.

Wooo! It’s a great way to start a day, even though I was a few minutes late!
I’m Qui
and being late has never stopped me from piling good vibes onto my plate.

Though — it won’t happen again Tao Guide, Peace.  I bid tardiness the DEUCE!

The C-word

In Communication, fitness, Griot, Networking, Self Improvement, Travel, Video, weightloss on September 20, 2017 at 8:30 am

letter-cGood morning sweetheart, my griot remains blunt
thus I want to talk to you about an abbreviation bunt.

When taking a hit in the stress department and harboring painful feelings
— it can yield a hardness to your organs that will need ONCOLOGY healing.

goofy-laughThe C-Word is short for cancer. That’s the intended abbreviated bunt.
With the kids reading I wouldn’t be Rated-R seeding and use The C-Word: CRUNCH,

I mean really. Don’t be silly. Aunt Qui is not that risky of a chancer.
Though it’s true we’re holding unnecessary stresses that turn into cancer.

The key to properly placing stress does not rest in your wrists;
when expressing ‘Why you’re down,’ you respond, ‘He or she – did this.’

That’s a sort of a bunt, but more of a miss –because it’s simply not true.
Though not knowing how to cope with stress means old feelings are harbored by You.

You grit your teeth and seethe. You do it day after day.
You live with the pain and hurtful stains of a strained yesterday.

It’s in your gut. It’s real on your plate.
Misplaced emotions can turn into hate.

Hate that you never voiced, but accepted as ‘all good.’
After all, the hate that you feel comes from your familial hood.

Well, harboring pain is never “all good.”
Stress = Cancer. Get it understood.

Avoid The C-Word! Act like ya’ heard. You must, at all costs!
When it comes to your emotions — you, alone are the boss!

My dad died from cancer at 69-years old just 4-months ago
and my 64-year old aunt via The C-Word, went right after him, yo.

The C-Word illness is real.
They befriended stress and then it killed.

Me? I was curious as to, how this is so?
Then I was told I had a blockage. My response, “NO!!!”

One day at Tao yoga, Master Chun did tell me
that a pain in my right side could lead to “The C.”

stress-2-cancer-route

Stress harboring  can yield to cancer in various organs

Who? What? ME!?
That is right,” said she.

I’m a happy-go-lucky spirit. How could it be?
It was yesterdays stresses — misplaced by me.

I did not know.
The harboring was internal and did not show.

I love my friends and family. I am sure I do it best!
So what’s with this misplaced, harboring of stress?

Well, it was stressful situations from long ago that I thought I’d forgotten about.
Sad emotions hunkered down into my organs and took up storage — to build a cancer route.

But it did not happen.
Tao Master Chun began tappin’

on the sore spot that she had pointed out on my right.
Then she educated me about stresses, cancer and life.

Today, several weeks later – I’m actually feeling alright.
My body is limber and loose and no “hardening of nothing” is in sight.

It took more than education and body tapping, but not much more.
I meditated and converted Stress to Strength via a Sedona Retreat score!

It helped me out a whole bunch!
The C-Word is real, but posed no life crunch!

Today I am not akin to holding stresses, my organs are softening – I’m making it through.
But because life is full of stress I thought it best to share my findings with you.

Because if your abdomen is hard, and you don’t have a six pack
and you’re a tad stressed out, perhaps even feeling fat
but not eating a lot – just stressed out to the max.
I’m gonna ask you to meditate and get ready to bat!

Bunt that away from you. Stress is not yours to keep.

Good morning baby, I’m a word lover – like no other, touching on The C.

Dahn Jon

In Communication, Griot, Networking, News, Self Improvement, Travel, Video on August 28, 2017 at 8:07 am

STS-dahn jon.jpgI decided to break from the grind of corporate contract winners
and dedicate some “me time” via the Tao Healing Center.

We met up in Sedona
Where big energy rests on ya.’

We did introspection reflections; we looked within ourselves.
The healing practice mainly costs you time for yourself.

Leave at home your mundane concerns and wealth – it’s not needed here.
Sedona has a reputation of internal peace and ‘wiping the mind clear.’

It totally and completely did it for me.
I resided in Sedona for days of 3.

Three is a small number  – though my internal organs received it as rigorous fun.
I practiced in converting STRESS TO STRENGTH with Tao Master Chun.

We acknowledged our Chakras and and focused on feelings to reconnect…
Then we hiked the Healing Gardens and visited an awesome vortex.

I stood still in the thick of it, grateful to God;  standing on sacred ground.
I calibrated my vision to see the energy particles,  mid air; all around.

There – is where good energy abounds. I was amazed.
Then we passed the sight of Levenson’s resting place.

Ilchi is the man that revived the dream
that Levenson left – when he conceded life’s scene.

Therein is the tale that provided the retreat
That I dedicated to myself over days of 3.

Converting Stress to Strength –
Is how my time was spent.

My Dahn Jon does it me.
We tapped and patted our energy free.

Penned up emotions have no magic potion of which I can tell.
But a trip to a Mago retreat could facilitate you into being well.

STS-Sadie-13-yearold-energetic-powerhous

Teen energy is HUGE!!! Go Sadie!

We meditated a lot. When was the last time that you did?
In our class of mature energy there was a lone majestic kid.

She was just 13. She opened her heart and took in the scene.
She arrived as a child and returned home – a wiser teen.

It was a beautiful thing.
I cried, I laughed, I even attempted to sing.
The experience invoked me. I was charmed by the scene.

I arrived a mess out of sorts, so I communed in nature with an open heart.

STS-5-Element-Stress-and-Emotion-Cycle.jpg

You retain stress in your organs. Be encouraged to RELEASE that. You don’t deserve it.

I was energetically all over the place; I carried quite a lot to deal…
Chun and those attending with me coalesced their energy & we healed.

Today I feel refreshed, renewed and glad to be a member
of such a loving family at the Tao Healing Center.

We all need it – to reconnect and focus on self.
I’m Qui
Encouraging you to a Mago Retreat. Invest in you and return to well.

PS — Here’s a little note to those who joined me in retreat this weekend and won,
If you find that your body is still sore from our retreated score – no problem, it’s just your Qijong.
