POWER Devour

A Family Friend is someone most of the members of your family know.
You’ve prefaced their name with aunt or uncle; a respectful show.

Eh, yo, have you been watching that series on STARZ?
The storyline bars none and the deeds done are hard.

My Lord, I watched episode eight on yesterday
and I tell you the shows creator and producers do not play.

Kanan gave up his scripted soul in a shootout with the police
because Tariq was feeling hard; Kanan encourages his beast.

And so he’s given up his last dialogue line.
I don’t expect him resurface in the future this time.

The cops swissed him up while Tariq sat in a squad car and watched.
Tariq-Kanan-Power.jpgThe “hard” in Riq hit the road when he was close to losing his own soul;
Kanan chose not to deliver the fatal drop.

I suppose in the end Kanan really was A Family Friend,
as Tasha and Terry Silver abruptly ends.

Yes. Counselman Terry ran for the hills
returning Tasha’s retainer and any idea of intimate thrills.

That was a pretty cold chill, because Tasha had just told Angela and Ghost
that they can feel free to be together, because Terry Silver loves her most.

She said as much only to go straight over to his place
and find his home empty and without a forwarding trace.
The look on Tasha’s face…

She was going to Terry’s to ask him to lie
and yield testimony to the F.B.I. as her “gun witness” alibi.

He just couldn’t do it.
Ol’ Terry packed it up; his actions said “screw it.”

Keisha-Power.pngKeisha and Tommy are trying to get close…
Tommy is beginning to frequent questioning Ghost.

Ghost and Angela took a revived romp in the hay,
but so did Tasha and Terry, before he ran away.

Terry was almost A Family Friend.
Teresi and Tommy are thin blooded kin.

Teresi has plans with the FBI to turn Tommy in.
Diego is dead. Kanan put one in his head
and Dre is headed to the pen.

Yes-Yes, therein episode eight the writers got quite a bit of exposition in.
Blood doesn’t always act like family and who really, is your friend?

You have to know or else all that is good has the potential to sour.

The Band is Back Together

In Communication, Griot, Networking, TV Shows on September 13, 2017 at 4:41 am

Episode 10, Season 4 of POWER did deliver
and dulled the stereotype of “being a killer.”

You had Budweiser, Coors & Miller together again…
Their government names could never contain the amount of sin

that they have on agenda; the mayhiem they intend to create.
Tommy and Ghost took out Uriel but meant to kill Dre.

Raina’s death was avenged but that doesn’t make all “right.”
Tariq showed up at Ray-Ray’s undercover cop spot and took his life.

He fired two shots and Rays life stalled,
Then Angela came after the fact and found a bullet lodged in the wall.

Tariq used Tasha’s personal handgun
Forcing Tasha to hire Terry Silver and end their romp fun.

Now the whole family is under the gun – they live by it.
Me? It’s a heck of a heap, the layers are so deep I had to write it.

For next season, I’m already excited, though I chose to write about Episode 10 today
because not long ago I read an article that indicated “limited episodes” are at play.

Meaning the producers asked for 11 or 12 episodes
to tell a thorough tale but we’re duly told “No.”

Is that so? I surely hope not.
Is STARZ the good guy or the dirty cop?

Why not grant the producers per their request?
Is the series worth it? [Answers] DO IT and HECK YES‼️ 🙂

Forcing the series to combine multiple scripts because there’s no episodic room
makes me wonder what it means to be a successful series boon?

Anywho, I loved every minute in Season 4 of the series POWER.
I pray the premium network STARZ considers yielding a couple of additional hours.

Mmmm. Delicious drama it is.
The highs and lows of life via scripted biz.

No one sits lightly during any scene where we loose a kid.
Tasha’s emotions
are the tumultuous ocean of a broken and bruised Ms.

Kiss-Kiss but let us not dismiss how the season came to a close:
In Tommy’s mustang with Kanan in back and @shotgun, Ghost.

The Band is back together and dare I say,
they’re all focused on their next hit, “El fatality Dre.”

Hey-ey. For the series to have been expressed via 10 episodes,
KUDOS to every facet and all involved – a relative tale was always told.

The POWER series produces juices that look like gold,

POWER Moves & A Couple of Fools

In Communication, Griot, News, TV Shows on August 23, 2017 at 4:35 am

donshea-hopkins-power-rainaYes, I saw it all and yes it was purposefully sour.
Before I spill the beans please tell me that you saw POWER?

Bean spilling is about to commence
Tariq isn’t slick and Raina reaped consequence.

Kinfolk, I was sick. I truly thought I would throw up.
I was enjoying watching Donshea Hopkins grow up.

And now this:
The death of a child is hard to dismiss.

FOOL 1: Ray-Ray really messed up when he pulled that trigger.
Raina was just another nobody, the crooked cop figured.

Did you see the eyes of her brother as he stood over her last gurgles of breath?
Tariq looked up at Ray to see him running away then to Raina as she embraced death.

florida-evans-damn.gifCrooked POWER got her.
In specific it was horrific and Ray-Ray shot her.

Florida Evans said it best: “Damn, damn, damn!
Where’s that Dr. Seuss book, Green Eggs and Ham?

If only Tasha could read her little girl another bedtime story tonight.
The femme sibling role lost its soul; the writers will no longer write.

Raina St. Patrick has met her scripted demise.
But did you see her brothers eyes?

I did. They were charged with new and calculating views.
It just didn’t appear that his soul felt dear about bidding Raina ado.

In other devilish deeds
spawned from Sundays POWER‘ful seeds:

power-dre-smokingFOOL 2: Dre is definitely smoking but it ain’t weed.
I’m weighing this by the size of his recent misdeeds.

He orchestrated Julios death
And has the Toros Locos walking to the left.

They are under suspicion and now being watched…
Warehouse distributions for Tommy are up in smoke – shot.

Tommy is the one eyeballing the Loco’s and feeling a big testy,
He has duly reached out for help from his dad,Tony Teresi.

The show yielded to credits after Tommy fist bumped snow.
He was still on his vent at the episodes end – but of Raina’s – he does not know.

Eh yo! It was emotionally pulling to say the least,
I’m Qui
On these POWER Moves & a couple of Fools. The entire production is beast!

As for the host, the black and gold STARZ:
Take care of this series – its relativity goes hard!!!
