On The Good Foot

This morning I woke up smiling. Good morning to you.
Care you for coffee, tea, a joke or two?

Today’s menu is composed to invoke a laughing spirit to stick. —
So, today we will laugh about various Social and Economical Politics.

Every voting block is absolutely able
to gather around and toss important issues at the kitchen table.

What does that mean?
While you discern, I’ve got a few jokes for your seam.

Before I get started if I didn’t WARN you, I’d be wrong.

T is for a trumpet out of NETFLIX; Katherine Heigl is the loudest.
T triumphs respect & equality and can yield Americans to be the proudest.

T is for more terrific times, and of course, Thursday.
T is for thorough research and trendy verb play.

T is for togetherness; I miss you. Do you miss me?
T is for the tight squeeze that binds us w/o unity.

Today I feel a lot of love in my community.
Today I feel a renewed love between you and me.

T is for Thank You. I am grateful for all that I have recently heard.  
People are protesting for body autonomy. Tone is always word.

T is for think. Don’t you dare just go with the flow.
 T is for thoughtfulness; exhibit as much during your to and fro.

T is for talk. Don’t engage in it if you are not prepared.
 Intelligence is weighed; each listener to parse his own fair.

C is for compassion. There’s always room for THAT today.  
T is for the tenacity to kneel in reverence and pray.

Time waits for no man, and time is not infinite for any of us.  
It is time we cut the –ish and focus intent on humanity and love.

We’ve done it before.
Let’s hit the polls for a humanity score.

Where is it

Where are your thoughts, your heart, your mind?
Are you treating yourself well? To yorself, be kind.

Think of thyself as an Aries and get a “Me first,” attitude.
Insist on the best out of today in everything that you do.

Your love is amazing, so be amazing today.
Love every soul whose journey crosses your way.

Be a good listener and listen to what they have to say.
Monday’s are made for wins; use the universe to sway.

Where is it — you’re swagger, your vibe, your stilo? —
Meditate & pray at the start of every day to shine-it-up before you go.

Look in the mirror and see if you see it.
Whether you do or not, leave the house, and “be it.”

You got this. I got this; the good of it all is who we are.
God is with us, blessings will hug and kiss us.
Our energy is comparable to the universe’s brightest star.

If we all shine our internal light’s we can all go far.
When it comes to standards let us raise the bar.
A loving and compassionate people are who we are.

So, live like it. When love is in the air? Up-spike it.
Go above and beyond, because you want to and you like it.

Not only do I like it, but I also love it.
When togetherness yields an olive branch, I’m quick to hug it.

I hold on to it and ever so tightly.
If you believe that we can co-exist in love — then you’re just like me.

Let’s do it.
Should hate shows its face, let love misconstrue it.

Recognize it and turn it around.
Use its energy to power source a good pound.

An understanding. Where is it?
Medical Science save lives — get with it.

Our eyes have welled with tears of fatal cost
at how many American lives we have lost.

Everyone feels it.
Perhaps love is the ingredient that can heal it —

that feeling in your gut.
Things won’t be this way forever; there’s a new day coming up.

Where is that day? I suggest we start it today.
