Cherishing

Time flies…

Good morning. I woke up with the feeling of winning!
No jars to pickle me in – though I am hooked on KIDDING.

Have you had a chance
to check out KIDDING On-Demand?

Oh, you should. You really should.
It’s quite the SHOWTIME reflection of a ‘perfect neighborhood.’

I hope that Mr. Roger’s hood was not ever so deep.
You’ve got to see Jim Carey’s performance – It’s talking to you and me.

The writers scripted sex, death, and drugs
to accessorize the main story t’was born of love.

The society-observative me thinks so.
Season one came in hot; the cast is a pro.

The narrative view is fresh, it’s strong, and it’s rough.
Jeff Pickles has his shortcomings, yet he is enough.

TNT’s LAST SHIP has sailed, and it isn’t coming back.
Sunday was the last battle on Nathan James’ war track.

I like to watch television a little bit
and it’s channel 573 that I just can’t quit.

It’s called SHORTSTV and it has the best lineups
of creative short films that you can watch in your cut.

Time flies when you’re having fun and reviewing your peers.
I’m a student of film, popcorn, mimosa’s, and cheers.

I’m truly entering into my happy zone as Fall’s essence begins to ring,
and then I hear that Kim Porter’s crossed over; she exited the scene.

XO.

PDiddy aka Mr. Love: I am doleful for you and your beloved children.
Please take heart knowing Kim won’t be far – and that you’ll see her again.

Kim did cross over, but her love won’t ever end.
This morning I arose and with intent, my knees did bend.

I’m praying for you; you and the fam are not alone.
Kim Porter was the real deal, I can’t wait to hear the memoir song.

Life is not to be taken for granted, neither is the stretch or the yawning.

Digging into CLAWS

In Communication, Griot, TV Shows on July 5, 2017 at 4:45 am

claws.jpgI’ve been scratching at the typing-pad to get this piece out,
but not a minute before comprehending what ‘the nail’ is about.

The original series CLAWS is a catty TNT broadcast
starring a host of ballsy gals being lead by Niecy Nash.

It’s about a “class” struggle, illegal deeds and cash.
From within a doctors office and nail salon – moving meth stash.

The businesses are fronts that launder dirty cash.
Desna is the name of the character that’s portrayed by Ms. Nash.

It’s an intriguing 30-minutes to be had on TNT
Uncle Daddy’s nephew was offed by the youngest salon-member she.

Her name is Virginia and she laid Roller 6 feet deep.
Roller
was Uncle Daddy’s nephew, a cheap oppotunist freak.

Desna was his bottom girl, he made her feel tops
tho he slept with other women too – there was little reason to not.

Uncle Daddy is sort of a big meth deal in town
and his nephew Roller held his distribution down.

Promising every shaggable nail tech a crown —
until (the nearly-a-victim) Virginia put him down.

claws-cast.jpg

L-R: Virginia, Polly, Desna, Jen and Quiet Ann

Desna was there and is the only other person who knows as much.
I don’t know if there’s honor among dealers but nail techs lack no love.

The series script is plot-sound as Uncle Daddys is on the move
to find the killer culprit who interrupted his groove

but he doesnt know the killer is in his own house
so while he searches outside; inside he remains a louse.

Demanding more cash from the business fronts —
someone robbed the doctors office of 8 Grand – leaving them in a rut.

Uncle Daddy likes to “stick it to ya.” He in no way is coy.
He runs the drug racket like a tyrant and sleeps with a little boy.

Writs of twist are Shakespearean catty.
The Claws come out to satisfy Uncle Daddy.

He wants his money!
The script is dramatic; the script is funny.

The series is situational; anything can happen.
A life could be lost behind the dirty game cost –
while nail techs keep trending fashion.

For unpredictable scripts, I have a reel passion,

Digging into Claws for we and TNT has that Opiod-hit action.

I like ’em rough: Dean & Sam

In Communication, Griot, News, TV Shows on January 24, 2011 at 1:12 pm

Dean & Sam - Braun & Brave

It just so happens they’re cute too. Ooo!

Okay – Have you been watching TNT’s reruns of SUPERNATURAL? I have, and just so happens the new season starts up on January 28- Friday 9/8c @ on the CW Network [CWTV]. As soon as MEDIUM could sign off SUPERNATURAL is starting up and boy oh – boy is the anticipation building. And just in case you’re wondering… YES! I’m a sci-fi chic for sure. 🙂 Dean and Sam have got my attention.

So the new season starts this Friday — it’s absolutely true
and I’ll be tuned in to witness the deeds of the good-looking two. Ooo.

Sam is the baby of the family and Dean is the protective big brother;
Their dad recently passed from “demon fighting” – as did their brazen mother.

It seems to be a family business; Mom died when Dean was just sixteen
Dad was away in a coma for years, being held hostage to a ‘spiritual bad dream’.

Dean and Sam found him last season and duly freed his soul.
But in a bargain for Deans life (later on) – their Dad gave up his life and ‘The Colt’.

The Colt — was the name of the gun
They’d shoot demons with to total their sum.

It’s gone now, though Dean and Sam still ride.
They kill demons with whatever’s handy while salting-the-scenein stride.

Supernatural Stars

I have no idea what they’ll be up to next – though I eagerly anticipate,
I’m Qui
into Sam & Dean
and looking forward to SUPERNATURAL on January 28th.

SHAVOO’s in DARK BLUE

In Griot, Movies, Music, TV Shows on August 5, 2010 at 11:11 am

Next Day Air‘s SHAVOO is DARK BLUE‘s Cast Co-star: Omari Hardwick (he plays Ty Curtis) . Thank God for TNT. After seeing , Next Day Air with Mos Def, Donald Faison (from Scrubbs), Mike Epps, and Darius McCrary (from Family Matter, Y&R [current], and SUPERHEAD), I developed a craving for a little more SHAVOO. Merci agréable.

I didn’t know it then, but I do know now, he’s a SOUTHERN BOY. Born and raised in Savannah, GA. Ow! I couldn’t pick a sweeter peach to call eye candy. Mm-mm-mm.

Before I even begin, I think I should hush
It’s obvious upon Omari Hardwick – I have a crush.

In no rush to see the DARK BLUE series ever come to an end
TNT’s got SHAVOO (whose lips are like Oooo) – TNT is my friend. (-:

The series itself has a rough and edgy spin.
The writing is exciting; the cast invokes an eye candy grin.
…so glad to see Ormari again.

May DARK BLUE continue to get strong and win,
I’m Qui
on a THURSDAY
naught-thought kind of binge.
had I said anymore, the online wires would be singed. 🙂

Yep! It’s THURSDAY AGAIN.
