I’m a Leo, a romantic kin; an extrovert to no quick end.
I’m a loner filled with cues of intend; I have an abundance of fam but very few friends.
So please hear me out as I intend to express
The goodness I’ve found in a sisterhood connect.
The weekend came fast but exited slow.
My girlfriends and I were on the ‘to and fro,’
Las Vegas was the destination, We were on our spectating grind.
Then we caught a shuttle bus to Moapa to kick it with HIGH TIMES.
And we did — along side other new found friends.
Our moods were elevated but not as much as the winds.
The winds were 30mph, the wide open space was perfect for vent.
The ladies and I camped out Kosherly in the SuperVip tent.
We met vendor upon vendor and one person after the next
who were more about “peace & harmony” at this laid-back connect.
No. It was not a Woodstock at all — and many cried “not fair,”
For the simple fact, that there was very little MaryJane in the air.
It seemed the reservation that hosted the event
was threatened with ‘illegal ramification imprint.’
They were instructed not to sell and/or distribute any weed.
There were many vendors and products but no State Fair winning seeds.
There were plenty of food trucks in the case folks wanted to eat.
There were all kinds of art, apparatuses of sorts and a pair of dancing trees.
Ludacris was on marquee to perform in that heightened frame.
He turned out and rocked the crowd – though the scene mirrored his name.
It was “ludacris” for Feds to have restricted the reservation hosting the event
After thousands of dollars for booths were spent,
after thousands of dollars from guests poured in to commemorate…
Moapa Valley had the dustiest plate.
Nevertheless, between the information learned and the consolations earned
👉🏾We had a grand time.👈🏾
We lived like ballers without the alcohols but With all of the pent house plush.
We ran the streets interviewing folks that we’d meet in the sin city stripped rush.
Excitement did gush, slot machines rang and dispensaries did their share.
While High Times had no verge to grind – on the strip MaryJane was in the air.
Harmony seemed to have followed the scent.
A good time was had – a good time was spent.
Today we are back on the grind, all smiles and so much wiser.
High Times hails the best networking events – but missed the fire.
I’m a Leo, a fire sign; known to live life high.
I enjoyed our party of 3 – my two girlfriends and I.
It was a 3-day weekend and we used every hour
To lift each other up and compliment shower.
Were we socially productive? Did we get any good info?
Yes we did, a summit of the minds was bridged and elevated with no smoke.
We came and we saw
The clash of state and federal law…
We were educated and we educated others on a myriad of things.
My sisterhood circle is a networking production – not a fling.
This was my first CUP Event, I hope to mingle amidst many more,
I’m Qui
Good morning Monday and dear girlfriends. The weekend was a hell-of-a-score!
