When I talk about my GAC, I am referring to my Guardian Angel Crew. Do you have one? If you don’t think that you do, (and I think I’ve said this before in a previous column) I think that you very well have one, though you probably just think that you’re lucky.  Ha! Luck could never be so precise. I like to think that our Guardian Angels are probably the spirits of our past loved ones and collectively they form a crew. A necessary crew. Remember the near death situation that you escaped with your life, health, limbs? Well, your GAC has good defense.

Who authorized us to have a GAC? That’s a good question and I think a good answer would be our Creator. It’s an intelligent answer. Who sent the angel into the lions den to protect Daniel? Please do not tell me that you thought Daniel was among the first recorded lion tamers — because he was not. Daniel was sentenced to the lions den but it was God’s will that Daniel not be harmed, so he sent aGuardian Angel.”

So let’s say that “it’s official,” and that you have a GAC and they are with you most of the time, what do you think they think about some of the things that you do and say? Especially of those things that you say when no one is around to “call you out” on it. If you were aware that someone you loved and missed dearly besides Jesus is listening, would you say or do any of it?

Whatever your answers are, I think that it is highly likely that your loved ones who have crossed-over still hang out with you and often. When God sends a miracle, He could send an angel to travel from heaven every single time or He could have angels here on Earth. Right?

Today is a great day to give some thought to your GAC and the things that you say and do. Besides God, they are watching you. If you are running around mask-less, talking to others who opt not to wear masks… what kind of workload are you putting on your GAC? Fighting un-masked spittle is tedious work — you don’t want to wear them out. Your GAC is likely part of the reason why you don’t cut your digits off every time you play sous chef. Yes, I, too have counted my blessings and digits after playing Emeril Lagasse. Thank God for our Guardian Angel Crews. Imagine your loved-ones from a different view. In light of, consider living mindfully; a better-you.

When I realized that I was going to write about this topic, I asked myself “why?” — I suppose to compose a story of hope for those whose loved ones have died.

Covid’s consumption is not a fiction nor a lie. Folks escape with their souls after losing their lives.

Those left to survive remain asking why. Resist feeling lonely and shorten your cry. Regardless of what the issue was that caused your loved one to die, remember energy is not destroyed — it is transformed and still nigh.
