Remember the heroes of yesterday…

outside at the park, in transit and at the game.
If it weren’t for our brave military our existence would be bane.

Have a Mindful Memorial Day to the survivors of those who we’ve lost.
We may not understand your depths, though we recognize your cost.

As you kneel, I’ll drape a cape on you and dust you off.
You, who were charged with carrying on; your hearts so soft.
